h.s: In Real Life
"God you're like my dad." I groaned. Harry rolled his eyes.
"Well if you stop being so childish I'll stop giving off the whole dad vibe." Harry said, rolling his eyes. I groaned and dropped my head back onto the couch. Training wasn't going so well for us. I wouldn't even call it training really, more like being bored to death.
Harry kept wanting me to do these breathing exercises and trying yoga. I didn't start questioning his methods until I had been with him for about five days. "Does yoga even work?" I asked. "I've never seen you do yoga. I mean, if you're saying it helps with self control, shouldn't you do it all the time."
"Not necessarily. Like I said, you're young."
"I'm young, I learn quickly. I think I can go back out into the world."
"No."
"No? You can't keep telling me what to do Harry. We barely know each other. I can't even believe you let me live in your house." I exclaimed, gesturing around the room. Harry's eyes followed my dramatic movements.
"You're not going anywhere. You live under my roof, you follow my orders." That's where his dad side began to show. I hadn't stop teasing him about it since. I think it only made him act more dad-like though.
"You won't let me go out of the house, you hardly let me outside. I can't call my friends or check the Internet but I can watch the news, which is boring as fuck I might add." Harry smirked. "Can I please do something different?" I begged for the fifteenth time.
"Like what? There's not even much to do out here."
"Just let me run around outside. Hell, you can come with me. I don't give a shit I just want to go outside."
"I can't risk you attacking someone. You'll expose us."
"I'll try not to kill anyone." I replied with a roll of my eyes. Besides, you'll be right there ready to stop me."
"I won't always be right there to stop you, metaphorically and physically." Sighing, I narrowed my eyes at him.
"Just come with me outside. I'm tired of drinking blood out of bags and smelling the same stale air over and over. I need sunshine. I need fresh air. I need to get out of here." Harry looked me over suspiciously but I must have looked really spent becusse eventually he said,
"Fine. Two hours only. Then we go back inside." Smiling I took off towards the door. Somehow Harry still beat me. I rolled my eyes at his cocky smile as he opened the door. Running outside, I took a deep breath, mostly to test the air to see if any humans were around. I smiled, the nearest human was twenty-five miles out. I had a wide berth.
"What can we do? Where can we go?" I questioned. Harry chuckled.
"We should get some of this bent up energy out of you. There's a cliff face just.." As he pointed out the direction of it, I took off. "Ana." Harry scolded lightly. I didn't stop though and he eventually caught up. I laughed looking over at him. His hair was blowing back in a beautiful way and it was moments like this where I remembered just how attractive he really was.
"I'll race ya." I said with a grin.
"I'll win."
"Hey, you never know." I remedied with a shrug. I poured on the speed. Harry ended up twenty feet in front of me, which is something I knew would happen and something I was prepared for. When I got close enough to him, I reached out, yanked his shirt back and threw him to the ground. I heard him stumble and fall. I laughed as I ran through a pile of leaves that took to the wind.
