h.s: Lust

After that week I visited my parents once more but I often went to see Willow when she got out of school. My parents were still skeptical about the whole, I'm an undead teenage vampire thing. Even after I showed them my fangs, incredible strength and my speed they still didn't quite believe it or accept it.

"Your parents aren't exactly religious are they." I shook my head and grabbed her pillow as I sat on her bed.

"We only went to church on Christmas and Easter and I don't know they're just having a hard time."

"So it's not a weird religious thing then." Willow murmured. "I think parents just aren't used to the whole 'vampire thing' it's twilight that started the craze and that was more geared towards teenagers. Our parents see vampires as some stupid teenager thing. Not something that's real." I shrugged

"Yeah but I wish they would be more understanding. It's not like I'm actually dead anymore, I mean. I'm back. I'm here. I'm alive." Willow started laughing.

"That's such a stereotypical vampire thing to say." I hit her with the pillow as she continued to laugh. Harry didn't want me to come out to visit Willow that often. He was worried about me loosing control but I proved to him that I could handle being a close proximity with a human and not rip them to pieces. Still, everyday he said

"Just be careful."

"I will. I'm not going to do anything stupid and Willow isn't a klutz. She doesn't hurt herself easily." Harry shook his head at me. I sighed. "I'll try to keep her away from paper. Can't have her getting a paper cut now can we." He laughed that time but there also seemed to be something he wasn't telling me. I knew he was worried about me but it seemed like he was worried for a reason other than I might kill my best friend.

While heading back from Willow's house, heading towards Harry's. A flash of movement caught my eye. It was unusual because I was running at an incredibly speed. I slowed down even though I was nearly a mile past the point where I saw the movement. It could have been a deer. I mused but that didn't make sense. I was moving so fast everything should have been a blur, It should have all looked stationary. If I had seen something move that meant..

"Well aren't you a pretty little thing." I turned around swiftly. A man was leaning up against a tree. He was dressed pretty fancy for a casual walk in the woods. Button up shirt with black slacks and dress shoes. He had to be...

"Who are you?" I asked, looking him up and down. He was clearly a vampire. I could smell it on him. Harry smelled sweet and sultry and this guy, dare I say it, smelled almost sexy. Harry had explained that everything about vampires was supposed to draw people in. So even if we were a threat to them, they wouldn't run away because they were captivated by us. Harry said I smelled like fresh flowers. I told him he smelled like berries in the woods. He was surprised by my analogy.

"You don't know who I am?" He questioned. "Interesting." He got up off the tree and walked towards me. I ran backwards, leaving at least fifty feet of space between us.

"You have a pretty big ego if you think every vampire should know who you are. He smirked clasping his hands behind his back as he stared at me.

"I have a big ego sweetheart but despite that, everyone knows who I am."

"Well sorry to burst your bubble but I haven't been a vampire for very long." He arched his eyebrows.

"That's why you smell so sweet." A chill ran down my spine. If I could still shiver, I would have. Why was he so creepy? Who was this asshole?

"Ana." A voice said, touching my shoulder and pulling me back.

"Harry." I murmured turning to look at him. He was trying to tell me something with his eyes but I didn't quite catch it.
