Chapter Thirteen: guild trip

"Pancakes!" Natsu and Zeref yell as Lucy put down a huge plate full.

Immediately they start scarfing down on them. Lucy sat down waiting for them to be done so she could grab a few. She then started at a completely empty plate. She frowned and started crying. She kept on looking at it.

"Hey Lucy, why aren't you eating anything," Natsu asks oblivious.

"Are you kidding me!" She explodes, "you two ate them all! You guys are defiantly related! I put all that hard work into making that many that the thank I get...."

She kepted going on and on about but the brothers just zoned her out.

"Are you two even listening to me?!"

"What?"

"Ahhhh!" She kicks Natsu and he hits the wall face first. "You next!" She points at Zeref but, he already gone, "how can you run so fast with so many pancakes in your stomach?!" She calmed down and looked at Natsu on the floor, "I guess I'll just have Mira make me something..."

She gets up and looks at the window and sees Mavis.

"Ahhhhh! What are you doing?! And don't do that! You scared me."

"I just wanted to let you know that the whole guild is going to the beach!"

"Awesome! Then I'll pack then! Are you coming with?"

She smiles and nods.

"You're in a really good mood."

Mavis blushes, "yea I am, anyways I'll see you at the guild." And she leaves.

Zeref walks to the train station and sees Natsu and Lucy together holding hands. He pets Obra (his pet). "You ready?" Obra only snickers.

"Kazuya!" Natsu is running to him waving.

He smiles and waves halfhearted.

"You excited about the beach. It's going to be so much!"

Erza comes up to them, "this isn't for fun. It's for training. Hard. Training." She stares him down to be intimidating.

"Yes ma'am, that's what I meant."

"All aboard!" The captain says on the train.

"Oh man, I already feel sick."

Zeref starts laughing really hard.

"Are you laughing at me?"

"I remember a long time ago you had the same problem. It's funny that you still have motion sickness. We couldn't take you anywhere."

"Stop laughing at me! I can't help it!" Natsu started thinking about how his parents must've been like.

"Natsu was like this when he was little?" Erza pointed at a sick Natsu laying on the floor.

Zeref nods with a grin, "yeah, Natsu got it from our dad but, still Natsu always reacted worse than father did."

"It's really annoying when we need him to fight and he's just laying there sick. All the enemies think it's hilarious." Lucy states while rubbing Natsu's back.

"I wish I could help but my magic doesn't work on him any more." Wendy silently weeps.

"I could just knock him out." Erza says, "I've done it before and it works."

"No...." Natsu barely can talk.

"Hey Grey, are you going to join the group or keep sulking over there?" Gajeel asks him.
