Chapter Thirty Three: the black wizard

Sting, rogue, and Gajeel wasn't even leaving a scratch. Acnologia decided to land on the ground. Crushing people and buildings. He lets out a burst of his power from his mouth. Leaving a strip of nothing in its path.

"Holy...." Sting watched, "how are we supposed to stop this thing?"

Gajeel tried to do iron fist at the dragon face but, it turned its head quickly and bit into the iron. Gajeel let out a yell of pain. Then the iron crushed into pieces.

"Gajeel!" Rogue yelled trying to figure out how to help him.

His arm went back to normal but most of his forearm gone, "he's gone to pay..."

"Go find Wendy! We'll take care of him." Sting said.

Rogue helped Gajeel down, "Wendy where are you?" Every fairytail member was connected to talk to each other.

"Where are you?" He heard her.

"The stupid dragon bit half my arm off. I'm by the cake shop."

"Me and Erza will be right there! Just hang tight and be careful."

Zeref watched from the boats. He sees Natsu fighting and surprisingly he sees the demons of tartaros, 'what is his plan?'

He started to feel sad as he watched all the members struggle to survive this. He knew they weren't going to make it another day. None of them were.

He decides to go down and join it. He breaks in through the force field on his own. He sees a lot of new faces fighting and ones from the magic games. Zeref walks through all the chaos.

He's seeing Romeos dad. He was laying on the ground. Blood spilling out from his side. They meet eye contact and the black wizard walks over to him.

"Get away from me, you monster!" He says, "how could you do this? Do you even have a heart? We were kind to you treated you like family.

Zeref's eyes soften, "I'm sorry. It's nothing personal." Then he through a death orb at him to get him out of his misery. The Wizards eyes turn emotionless and he passed away. "I'm sorry, friend." He shuts his eyes with his hand.

Zeref walked along the battle field taking the enemy out but, even the ones who worshipped him. He was happy he didn't find anyone from fairytail. He didn't want to be the one to end their lives by his own hands but, still he would've killed them all the same. His heart clenched as he saw the memories he had with them. The only way he was going to be able to do this is if he shut off his emotions. He was successful.

He bursts out a the cloud that causes death. It spread out half a mile and reached high in the sky. He heard people screaming and then it was quiet.
He kept walking and didn't see any of the guild.

"I found him!" Brandish said, pointing at the the black cloud spinning about. Taking lives, "he's killing our Wizards. The ones who are fighting for him." She grew angry then, "he'll pay."

"I don't know if that a good idea." Lucy said. She was scared. Brandish was strong but, not like Zeref.

They get closer to where the cloud was. Dead people were everywhere. She saw Minerva laying on the pavement. 'After she went to the good side, this has to happen to her,'

Then Lucy see's Romeos dad. Her heart stopped. This wasn't done by the cloud. It was something else. Her eyes watered and she wondered if Romeo found out yet. He'll try and contact his dad to check up but, there will be no answer. "I'm so sorry. You were a great friend and master. No matter what anyone else said."
