Chapter Twenty Two: day one of the magic games

"Stop sleeping flame brain! They're about to start the first game." Grey shook him.

Natsu wakes up mad that someone is messing with him. He punches right right in the face and he falls to the ground.

"What the hell?!" Grey was pissed.

"It's your fault! You woke me up!" Natsu boomed.

"I'll get you for punching me in the face!"

"If you could even touch me!" Natsu laughs.

Grey saw his chance and punch Natsu.

"Arg! We are fighting right now!" Natsu fists are covered in fire, "fire beats ice any day."

"Will I have to kill you both?!" Erza glares at them yelling.

They calm down but stare at each other.

"Sit down!" Erza says.

"Right ma'am!" They both say and sit.

"Hello, everyone! Let's starts the grand magic games shall we? First will be a game between all guilds but, only one person in each team can participate. Then afterwards are the battles. One on one. So, let's pick out who is going to represent the team for the first game."

"I want to do it!" Natsu yells.

"Alright, go ahead."

Natsu jumps off the balcony and run to the pumpkin. The other competitors show up.

The pumpkin starts speaking, "Now that we got everyone here, let's start. The first game is....." A flying train comes above the stadium, "you must ride the train and defeat a monster who killed the captain. But, you'll be starting from the very back of the train as the monster is in the front. The train is headed towards a broken bridge. So, there's a time limit to this game. When the monster is defeated the train stops and that team wins!"

"Great. We'll lose the first one." Grey says.

"Why must we have bad luck." Erza was slumping her shoulders with sadness.

"I hate Natsu's motion sickness. Very inconvenient."

"We are never letting him do a game ever again. This happened last time."

They all end up on the the back of the train. Natsu leans on the wall his ace green.

"Come on Natsu! You can do this!" Lucy yells.

Natsu falls flat on his face and passes out. All of fairytail looks at the lacrima screen. Jaws to the floor as they watch their defeat, except Zeref. He was laughing.

Sabertooth wins the game with a new member named Mikaela. It was one of the brothers. His magic was very powerful. A water mage.

"He might be more powerful than Juvia..." Grey says.

Then he hears someone wailing at a distance. He looks and see Juvia crying, "what the?! How'd she hear me?!" Grey panics.

"I'm sorry guys. I didn't know that's what the game was." Natsu shows up.

"We didn't either so it's okay. We'll have a comeback this round." Erza says.

"Hey everyone! It's time for the battles to begin!" Pumpkin says.

He lists the first the first contestants. Between hibiki of blue Pegasus and Rufus Lore of Sabortooth.

The battle ends with Rufus as the winner.

"Alright the next fight is Kagura and Kazuya!" Pumpkin announces.

Zeref's eyes grow wide. He hoped he wouldn't be the first of fairytail to battle.
