Chapter Thirty Two: an odd parnership

The break in had tons of Wizards flooding in but, Natsu wondered where Zeref was. Then something pulled on his vest. He looked over to see Carla.

"Hey, what's up? Where Wendy?"

"She was helping Erza. I got to talk to you about something."

"Right now?"

She nods, "I've been having visions of this day but, the fight seems to last till nighttime."

"Did we win?" Her face made him regret asking.

"No one won." Was all she said, "but I got a plan to change all that but, it requires you," her eyes started to turn watery, "it's the only way to save the world from destruction. We won't win this. If we do nothing Zeref gets what he wants. I know what you are Natsu... I saw..."

Natsu looked at his arm after she left. He could t stop it even if he wanted to.... It was his fate. His destiny. He had to accept it at that moment. He had to save everyone.

He smells something then. His demon guild or what was left anyways. They all saw his arm and gasped. He recognized all of them. There was Jackel of course, tempester, Seilah, torafuzar, franmalth, and Lamy.

"You were him all along?" Asked franmalth.

Natsu nods, "I'm Zeref's brother. I'm... I'm E.N.D." At that moment that name stung his mouth.

"But, your still a wizard right now." Tempester says.

"I know but, I've gained back all the memories I lost, and I'm able to do curse magic."

"As a wizard?!"

"Yes. I don't know why that is. Anyways, I want you to fight by my side. You've never got the pleasure of doing so in the past. You guys never actually seen me but, you followed me anyways. Even know we're are demons we seem loyal to each other."

Jackel smiles, "who would've ever thought we'd be joining forces?"

Natsu smiles at the demon, "who would've thought." He agrees.

"So, are we ready to fight for our master?" Jackel says to everyone.

The demons all yell ready for battle. All of them run towards the swarm of Wizards pushing through.

Lamy uses her curse by spinning some of the enemies making them too dizzy to fight. Franmalth takes on Mard Geers form and abilities. Torafuzar takes a bunch out with his black poisoned water. Seilah uses her macro curse to manipulate them to do what she wants.

When tempester forms a tornado to take them out Natsu mixes his flames with it. Jackel was setting land mines around the battlefield. He was having a good time watching them explode after touching him.

"I waited so long for this!" Jackel says with a giant grin.

All the demons of Tartaros fought together in perfect rhythm. It was like they could read each other's minds and actions so fast. They were thinking as one.

"What the hell! They have more Wizards comin to fight!" An enemy yells pointing.

The demons turn around to look, there was ten blue Pegasus ships floating in the sky. Wizards were coming down from it to fight.

"What the...? Natsu said.

"We aren't too late for the party are we?" It was sting.

Then rogue shows up. Natsu couldn't believe it.

"Why are you guys here?" Natsu asks.

"We heard the world was in trouble. Carla brought us all together to fight to stop this. Everyone came. Even the dark guilds." Sting explains.

"Light and dark are all one today." Rogue says proudly.

"Even demons are on our side," light notices then fighting with Natsu, "luck is on our side, I'd say."

The two Sabortooth wizards were about to attack until a loud roar sounded from the clouds.

"What was that?" Sting asks seeing the fear in Natsu's and the demons eyes.

"Acnologia."

"Why would he be here?!" Rogue wonders.

"He loves chaos."

A shadow flashes above them. Shaped as a dragon.

"Me and rogue will take him down, we can't have him destroying the city. At the very least if we can't beat him, we can distract him." Sting tells the fire mage.

Sting and rogue get carried up to there by the exceeds to the dragon. But, Gajeel was already there pounding it with his iron fists on its back. It yelled pissed off and wanting to throw him off. Light and rogue join up with the iron dragon slayer.

"Need any help taking this monster down?" Rogue asks with a smirk.

Gajeel smiles back, "you bet."

Sting and rogue flinch away, "he smiled!" They said in unison.

"Shut up you guys now help me!"

Lucy got stuck with the wizard Brandish. She could shrink anything with such ease.

"I was really enjoying that bath. Too bad it had to be cut short."

Lucy stood in the streets completely naked with Cana.

"You should just give up now. If you don't I'll get bored and shrink this town into nothing." Brandish tells her, "you're outmatched."

"Why are you following Zeref? Do you know his plan during this battle?" Lucy asks. She didn't want to fight her. She was shaking.

"We need Lumen Histoire. Zeref wants it. The magical power is so strong."

"Does he? Because, I do t think he cares about that."

"You know nothing."

"You haven't seen him for how many years? He has one goal. Only one. He spent a few weeks in our guild. He wants to awaken E.N.D."

"Don't say that name so casually! Zeref wouldn't do that anyways. Not would mean the end of the world. We would all go with it. What would be the point of this war then?"

"That's what I'm saying. It's pointless to all of us except the black wizard."

"Shut it! I'll shrink this town right now!"

"Please brandish, listen to me. Zeref created his demons to destroy him but only one would be able to. He thinks today is the day he finally gets to die. He's cursed. He's been suffering. He wants to end the world to get rid of evil and that means everyone has to die so the process doesn't start all over again. He was total annihilation. I'm sorry. I know it's hard to hear."

Brandish was shaking with anger and confusion. She stared up at the ships they came in on, "Natsu and his friends destroyed our city. They brought Acnologia. He's here again. Even if your wrong and we win. Acnologia won't let us leave. This needs to stop but, it's already too late. I'll find Zeref and I'll kill him myself."

"It's too dangerous!"

"I have to try. That demon can't be awakened. We will all die if he is."

"Then I'll help you."

Brandish looked at her surprised but then nodded. They ran to wherever the dark Mage was. Lucy's heart beat fast. They weren't going to make it away from him alive.
