"You have much explaining to do."

I blush, looking down, "What do you mean?"

"Cat, you're fucking glowing," Lauren says, sipping on her coffee, "What happened last night?"

"Nothing-"

"Don't lie to me," she points at me, "I know you Cat."

"Okay," I sigh, "Well, I've told you about Calum before."

"Yeah, he was in your little group in Seattle, didn't he have a girlfriend?"

"Kinda," I say, "I don't know if they ever really made it official, but they basically were. But he enlisted into Iraq, and he's on leave, so he's staying in New York for a few days and he saw me at the club."

"And?" She urges, and I roll my eyes and laugh, "And we just caught up and he offered to walk me home."

"That's it?"

I stay silent, looking down and she slaps my arm, "Cat, you had sex with him!"

"Will you shut up," I hiss, leaning over the table, "Yes, I had sex with him, alright?"

"Well how'd it happen? How did it start, was it amazing?!" Lauren giggles and I roll my eyes again.

"I don't know, we were saying goodbye and then it just kinda started."

"Well what happened this morning? Was it awkward?" She continues to ask question, and I laugh at her lightly.

"It wasn't really," I shrug, "We woke up this morning and just started laughing."

"Laughing?" She furrows her eyebrows.

"Yeah," I shrug, "Calum and I were really close friends. He used to make sexual jokes towards me when we first started being friends, but I don't think either of us really thought anything would ever happen. Especially now."

"Do you think somethings going to happen with you guys?" She asks, "Or is it just a one time thing?"

"I honestly have no idea," I sigh, "I'm really confused on it all."

"Did you tell Grace?"

"No," I sigh, and she hits my arm, "Cat! You have to tell Grace!"

"I don't know how!" I defend myself, "This is Calum we're talking about! Besides, I feel bad bringing up guys since she broke up with Michael. I don't want to rub it in her face."

"She won't get upset because of that," she assures me, "But speaking of break ups, what about Ashton, you're completely over him now?"

"I guess," I sigh again, "It's been a year and a half, Lauren, I need to move on. God knows he has."

"You don't know he's fully moved on, Cat," she says, rubbing her hand on my arm, "He's in the NHL and has a girlfriend now, Lau. He's moved on."

It's true, about a month or so ago Ashton retweeted a picture of him and his girlfriend. I'm glad he's happy, he deserves it.

My phone makes a noise, so I look down and see it's a message from Calum, which makes me smile.

callum: hey kitten can I take you out tonight
