this is short but just wait for it

Cat reacted really great to when I said I was dating Luke, and I was honestly surprised. She didn't seem at all upset or even a little reminiscent on her relationship with Ashton.

I did get a text from him a few days ago, which wasn't really weird because we try to keep in touch, and I gave him the address to the apartment so that he can stop if he's ever in town again.

I don't necessarily think he will, but I want this to be civil, and I want my friends back. Sure, now I have Cat and Luke, which is great, but these friendships are what made Seattle so great.

"Come on, Grace," Luke says, pressing his lips to my neck, "Let's just go to the apartment."

"Luke," I try to laugh off the amazing feeling of his lips on my neck, "We have to food shop."

"We can do that later," he says, stopping me from continuing to wheel the cart, continuing to kiss my neck, "Let's just go, please."

I sigh in content as he continues, before nodding and abandoning my cart that only contains a few items, "Fuck it, let's go."

Luke let's out a squeal before he practically drags me out of the store and to his car, driving at an alarming pace back to my apartment.

"Jesus, Luke, calm down," I laugh, and he shakes his head.

When we get to my building, he stops suddenly and jumps out the car, not giving me a chance to open my own door before he does it himself, "Come on, let's go."

I laugh as he pulls me by my hand out of the car and into my building, practically running to the elevator and impatiently pushing the buttons.

"Luke, are you alright?" I giggle, and he pulls me by my arm into him and presses his lips to mine.

I laugh, pulling on his shirt for him to get closer to me, wrapping my arms around his neck. The elevator dings, and he holds onto me as he walks in, taking me with him and not disconnecting our lips.

His lips travel down my neck and I hit the button for my floor, running my hands through his hair.

When we get there, I pull away, now feeling the same way Luke had moments before.

I grab his hand and we run down the hall, laughing loudly and he holds onto my waist from behind.

I fumble for the keys, unlocking it quickly and turning around, connecting our lips again.

He pushes the door open, his hands on my hips. I turn around to go to my room, coming to a dead stop.

"Oh my god." I say, feeling my heart drop, "What the fuck?"

"Oh, uh, hi Grace," Calum says, his face pale, "Luke."

Luke groans loudly, before saying, "Its great too see you again, Calum, but I'll be right back."

He slugs into the bathroom and I laugh lightly at what he's about to do, considering I think we both know whats not going to happen anymore.

I turn back to Calum, "I haven't seen you in year and a half! How have you been?!" I grin, embracing him in a hug, before quickly pulling away, "Wait, why are you here? And why are you shirtless?"

"Oh um-" he scratches his head before holding onto his water bottle he retrieved with both hands, "About that- I think we should get Cat-"

Theres a knock at the door and I furrow my eyebrows, before walking over to the door.

"Ashton!" I squeal, before latching my arms around his neck, his laugh that I grew to love echoing in my ear, "You came! You actually came!"

"Its good to see you, Grace," he pulls away from me, smiling. I grin back at him, before I see the person I've been avoiding for a while now.

He stands there, his hands in the pockets of his denim jacket, avoiding eye contact with me.

"Hi Michael," I smile at him, and he looks up, his green eyes meeting mine. I feel my heart rate increase, and a small smirk crosses his lips, "Hi Grace."

I back track a little and Ashton steps in so that Michael can see inside.

"Calum, what the hell?"

"Hey Ashton," he laughs nervously, "Funny seeing you here."

Michael walks in, and snorts out a laugh, "Nothing's changed I see?"

The bathroom door opens and Luke comes out, making my heart drop, "Babe, that was the most depressing-"

"Luke?!" Ashton's jaw drops, "What the hell is going on here?"

Michael's fists clench at his side, his eyes now trained on me. Oh god.

"Calum, who are you talking too-"

DAMNIT CAT.

All our heads snap up to the loft, where Cat stands there, her eyes wide and only Calum's shirt covering her body.

"Shit."

"Well," Luke laughs uncomfortably, "Someone wanna give Ronnie a call?"
