here we go again
>:))))))
"I don't-" I shake my head, looking over at Cat who's head is down, her hair falling in front of her face. I clear my throat, "How did you know I'd be here?"
"I called your mom!" She squeals, he heels clicking as she walks down the stairs of the arena, standing next to Cat.
Grace glares at her, and I see her take a hold of Cat's hand.
"She said you were most likely here," she squeals again, and I internally groan.
Gabby looks over at Cat and Grace, like she just noticed they were there, even though I know she saw them.
I skate closer to them and clear my throat again, "Uhm, Gabby, this is Cat and Grace. Cat and Grace, this is Gabby, my uh-"
"Girlfriend," she gives them a fake smile, sticking out her hand to shake it, "I'm Ashtons girlfriend."
Grace goes around Cat, sticking out her hand, "I'm Grace, and this is my best friend Cat."
Cat looks up at me, the sadness in her eyes slowly tears at my heart, before looking over to Gabby, "Hi."
"You're Cat?" Gabby says, narrowing her eyes but still keeping that fake, wicked smile on her face.
The beautiful girl nods, and I feel my jaw clench. I know what Gabby is trying to pull.
"Oh, I've heard so much about you," she says, and Cat pulls a confused face, "Oh?"
"You were in Ashtons friend group," she says, and Cat nods hesitantly, "You were the one screwing him."
"Gabby," I hiss, shaking my head and going into the bench area where everyone else is.
"Excuse me," Cat snaps, and I know this won't end well, "Is someone jealous? Because if so you can take your little-"
"Why don't you just wait for me by the entrance," I interrupt, not wanting anything to go down, "I have to get my stuff together and then we can go to eat or something."
"Okay!" She chirps, before walking over to me and pressing her lips to mine roughly.
The feeling of her glossed lips seems foreign against mine, unpleasant.
I pull away and she smiles brightly before turning around and walking back up the isle.
When she's out of sight, and I know she can't hear us anymore, I wipe my lips and turn to Cat, "Catherine-"
She shakes her head, "I knew this was a bad idea. We shouldn't of done this, oh my god, Ashton, she's fucking perfect, what the hell are you doing saying you're in love with me when you have her?" She whispers harshly at me.
"She isn't perfect," I whisper back, shaking my head, "Cat, you are. She isn't anything-"
"Ashton," she shakes her head, looking away from me, "Just- just go."
I sigh, sitting down and taking off my skates, before sliding on my shoes.
I put my skates and pucks in my bag, zipping it up and stand up. I pick up my stick and walk over to Cat.
"I'm so sorry, Catherine," I sigh, pressing my lips to her forehead.
I feel her take a deep breath, before I pull away and sigh deeply, walking up to Gabby.
I see her standing by the door, her blond hair, curled into a pony tail in perfection. A white long jacket covering her body, a dress underneath.
"Ashton!" She squeals, and I try to force a smile.
