"Alright the first big game is a home game...I expect everyone to do do more than your all. Give it all you got. Now hit the showers."

The pre-season games were over and now they were onto the real thing. First home game and he was determined to win.

"You doing some partying tonight Kaep?" Antwan smirked as they walked towards the locker rooms.

"Nah, I have to pick the kids up from Morgan's tonight."

"She still holding on huh?"

"Yeah. I don't blame her though."

"Can't be too good for you huh? Being separated and all...you know, since you're even more whipped than you give yourself credit for." He chuckled.

"She's good at giving the cold shoulder. Doesn't matter though because it's only a matter of time before it's alright again. I have faith in that."

He's met with a redheaded bombshell when the door opened. She had on makeup and her hair was wild and wavy about her face.

"Woah." She was wearing a white shirt with black bandana sleeves and matching bandana pants. She looked...well she looked gorgeous.

She reached up and put her hand under his chin; closing his mouth for him.

"It's California; you don't want any bugs in there." He smirked. "Come in." She moved away and further into the apartment. He came in and closed the door; moving to the kitchen where he saw her go in.

"Red...your hair." Was he incapable of forming a coherent sentence?

Probably because she's supposed to warn a man before she just unloads all of her sexiness on him. This is dangerous.

she turned from the counter and peered up at him. She cocked her head to the side.

"Why are you staring at me?"

"You look....amazing. I like your hair." She smiles softly.

"Thank you. Where are the kids?"

"They both decided it was a good idea to wake up in the middle of the night and stay up. So they're taking a nap." She rolled her eyes. "Hey, are you hungry?"

"Sure."

"Wanna stay and hang out? I mean I was just about to cook dinner."

"Okay, yeah that would be cool. Do you need help cooking?"

"You want to help me cook?" He leaned against the counter and crossed his arms.

"Are you completely forgetting that I can dust you in cookie making?" She smirked.

"That's baking...we're talking about cooking. Everyone knows my food is way better than yours will ever be."

"Oh that hurt, no faith." He feigned hurt and she bumped him with her hip.

"I was going to make parmesan crusted chicken, green beans and mashed potatoes...can you handle that?" She moved over to the fridge and started taking out the food.
