"Everything is gonna be fine baby, you can do this. You're doing so good." He brushed her hair from her face.

"It hurts so bad." She groaned. He rubbed her shoulder, trying to comfort her somehow.

"I know. You're almost there, just a little longer."

"I can't! I can't do it!" It hurt so bad. Her memories felt like nothing compared to this.

"Yes you can. The baby is almost out. Come on." She squeezed his hand as another contraction hit and she was forced to push.

"Push! Push!" The doctor sort of chanted and she heaved again before she felt a sort of release of pleasure. She heard the huge shout of a cry.

"Baby girl is out!" The pressure immediately came back and she could barely catch a breath before she was asked to push again.

"One more. You can do it. After this, you're done."

"Promise?"

"Yes. Just keep pushing...for a little while longer." He helped her sit up and she pushed hard; her vision going blurry with the force.

"Push! Push! Push! Come on, push!" A small yell came from her mouth before she heard another cry.

"He's out!" She collapsed back; trying to catch her breath.

"Are they okay?" She gasped out.

"Yeah, they're good...the doctors are cleaning them up."

"Good. Can I sleep now?" To say she was tired was an understatement. Her eyes were closing slowly as she talked.

"Yes. You can go to sleep." She felt him kiss her head before she was enveloped in darkness.

-a few hours later-

She slowly came to; her eyes taking a few moments to adjust. She was laid on her side, her body incredibly sore, and she could feel someone running their finger through her hair. It was Colin.

"Hey."

"Hi."

"How are you feeling?"

"I'm okay, I guess. How are you?"

"I think I'm way better than you right now." He smiles. "You did so good today..."

"I hope so...two babies is a lot of work. How are they?"

"Fine. The nurse should be bringing them in any minute now." She nodded before smirking.

"How bad do I look?"

"Beautiful. Tired, but beautiful." They smiled at one another again before she heard the doors open.

"The best twins I've ever taken care of are here." She cooed. She came to the side of the bed and helped adjust it so she was sat up. Then she moved to bring a baby to each of her sides.

"Here is baby girl." She took the small baby from the clear bassinet and laid her in her arms.

"Look at her...she's beautiful."

"Six pounds, seven ounces and sixteen inches."

"Here's your baby boy." Colin held him out for her to see. Both had heads of dark black curly air and chubby cheeks. They looked idenrjc
