Morgan
"Hopefully daddy will feel better knowing we're here." She swung her and Knox's hands as they walked toward the stadium with everyone else.
It was game day and she felt nothing but pure irritation with everyone that was doubting her man. She was going for support but she wasn't cheering for the backup.
The closer they got the more people started to pack in a little more. It was actually getting really rowdy. There was even a fight only a few people back; causing people to push forward a bit more.
"C'mon bub." She picked Knox up quickly; holding him closer as they continued to walk.
"Why all the people fighting?"
"Because they're immature that's why. I'm glad Darlene isn't here; she would get upset. But, you're a big boy; you're not upset are you?" He smiled.
"No."
Once they get past the ticket collector and the security check they make their way to the food stand and wait in line. She doesn't think her and Knox have had any serious quality time since before Darlene was born; and Darlene was almost nine months old.
After getting a ton of junk food they make their way to their seats. The game begins shortly after and everyone is rowdy and all over the place. She cheered a little for the team but mostly just watched. From where they were sitting she could see Colin sitting what looked to be calmly on the bench but she knew otherwise. She could tell he was bothered.
"Why is daddy on the bench?"
"He's sitting this one out. Because of his hand, you know? I'm sure he'll be back soon."
The game was interesting; but what was even more awful was they were around a bunch of Falcon fans.
To say they weren't being nice would be an understatement.
"Man this team sucks! We're gonna win!"
She rolled her eyes and continued onto watch. But the more into the game they got; the more rude they became. If they weren't yelling above everyone in the section-and that was saying something-they were bumping their seats. At one point they even bumped Knox.
"Here, come sit with me hm?" She pulled Knox up onto her lap and cuddled him into her.
"Mommy look! Daddy's waving!" He put his hand up and waved. She looked down by the edge of the crowd of football players and sure enough he was waving. She smirked and waved back.
"Hey...You're Kaepernick's kid....aren't you?" She stared up at the man for a moment before looking back to the game. "Hey man that's Kaepernick's kid."
She ignored the men before they started getting a little rowdier.
"The Kaepernick's suck!" someone shouted behind her. Knox looked back but she gently turned his head back to the field.
"Ignore them okay? Just ignore them." She kissed his cheek.
"And look at this...we've got his black bitch too. Look at their little African kid? Bunch of sorry pieces of shit...the whole family." She was getting increasingly angry but she couldn't do anything. Not right now; not while she had Knox.
"Your little husband is nothing but a half breed!" She hears chuckles. "Hey! You hear me talking to you? Hey bitch!"
"Hey let's quit it with the name calling alright man?" A deep voice spoke up from beside them.
