Morgan
-January 29th-
She has no idea how long it's been since she's been in the room.
She hadn't gone near it...didn't really know it existed until a few days ago. Looking at all the work makes her a little anxious and a little curious to see if she can actually do what's being shown. Her memory is gone but can she do what was done before? Is it possible for her to do what she did before and still be just as good.
Colin is away for the moment doing some rehab for an emergency surgery that took place immediately after new year's. The doctor said his shoulder problem needed to be solved and that was the only real way to solve it. She's glad that they caught it before it got worse but it scared the crop out of her. He has been gone for four weeks now and she misses him a lot. He calls her almost everyday to check if she's okay and what not. That's something she's grateful for.
Ever since her parents sold the story the paparazzi have been ruthless. She hasn't really been able to go outside because they're just sort of sitting in their vans and stuff across the street. It makes her feel weird but Colin assured here that they couldn't come on the property. It's a little scary but she has to deal with it.
She's been spending her time trying to figure the kids out and reconnecting with Sammie. But in the free time where those things don't occur; when Sammie is out having a life and the kids are down for a nap; are the days she wanders.
She's found what can only be her office and it's interesting to see. There are so many different things that he mind is finding hard to come to terms with.
The clothes, the accesaories, all of the different pictures, sketches and magazine articles hanging on the walls. There are different size fitting dolls everywhere and it's like a fabric store has been put out of buisness.
She spends most of the time looking at all the different creations. Things she was probably working on before the incident, half finished sketches and different pictures of outfits. It's like a fashion paradise in the room.
The doorbell rings and she hurries down to get it. But when she opens the door no one is there.
Stupid paparazzi.
As she goes to close the door again something catches her eye. A single white package in the middle of the porch. When she picks it up there is no address, no shipping label, no nothing; so with a shrug she closes the door and brings it in with her.
It doesn't look menacing or sinister, doesn't necessarily look like anything scary. Just a normal package. Maybe
Colin sent her something. So she opens it to find a simple CD slip with a disc inside, and a piece of paper. You can't run from the shadow, but you can invite it to dance.
She frowns.
She all to curious to see what is on the disk so she moves to the theater room and puts it in the DVD player. She sits front and center before clicking play on the remote and the screen flashes white before darkening.
There is someone laying strapped to a table; a man with sandy brown hair. She can hear him crying and pleading to the empty room.
Then the camera zooms in and she can see his face a little more clearly. His eyes stand out from the dirt caked up on his face and the eyes nudge at something deep in her conscious but don't ring a bell.
Then a dark figure moves into the frame and the man stares up at it. All the while he's still pleading and crying as he lays there.
"Please please...I'll do anything. I'll do anything just let me go!" She's glued to the seat and her eyes are glued to the screen.
The dark figure raises it's arm and throws it down again; stabbing the poor man that's strapped down. He screams out in agony before the knife retreats and the figure stabs it back in, in a different place. This happens over and over again but the man never gives up his screams. They get louder and louder; the sight alone stealing some of the breath in her lungs.
And with a twisting stomach she registers what's going on.
The video is real.
