Morgan
The airport was an experience in itself.
It was very busy and chaotic with the people who were going and coming. Then there was the paparazzi.
She was fine in one spot for a good amount of time; then someone spotted her. They stayed a few feet away luckily, something she was grateful for, but it felt like a lot of eyes were on her. Of course she had no idea what to do so she sort of just stood there and let them do what they needed to.
No one knew that she couldn't remember much. It had been a secret that stayed within the confines of their family. So she hoped and prayed that they wouldn't try to question her.
"Flight 340 is on a rollover and will be held back another hour." She sighed.
Another hour.
So she resolved in sort of taking a little tour around the place. When they took their flight to Colorado she had no time to explore as they went straight to the plane. Now she had some time to kill.
She ended up finding a coffee shop somewhere around the center of the airport. It was sort of big and people were all over the place; not that she expected anything different. She found a place at the end of the long bar; sitting up on a stool and waiting for an employee to get to her.
"Welcome to Center Bar; what can I get for the pretty girl?" She smiled politely.
"A caramel ice coffee and two cinnamon bagels please." The guy smiled.
"I assume it's for here?"
"One is...can you put the second bagel in a bag?"
"Of course. Coming right up." He left and returned a few minutes later with her things.
"Thank you." She started to sugar it and put her creamer in.
"So if you're a redhead, do you have a temper?" He spoke up and she caught his blue eyes again.
"Not that I know of." He couldn't have been older than twenty one; maybe she should take pity.
"Well there's always time to figure it out." He winked and she smirked again before he went to fill other orders.
She started fixing her bagel up and then proceeded to eat it as she watched the monstrosity that was the morning news. She wasn't really a fan of it; the idea of hearing all of the crap and ignorance that was apparent in the world was ridiculous. It would only make her mad to be honest.
Most of the way through her food and a few flirty remarks thrown her way by the waiter; she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. She wiped her hands before taking it out; half expecting a text from Colin or someone else. It was a picture message.
She opened it to see a picture of her back; more specifically her a little up close as she sat eating. Along with the caption: I see you; )
Unknown number.
Her body went rigid before she took a little look around. Almost everyone was on their phones so she couldn't pin point. She turned around slowly, suddenly losing her appetite.
She took her credit card out and put it with the receipt before waiting to hand it back to the waiter. Part of her wanted to know what the person looked like, part of her wanted to just run away. She didn't feel safe anymore.
When the waiter came back she sort of hurried to hand him the credit card. He glanced down at it.
"This credit card says Colin Kaepernick..."
"It's my husband's card." He stared at her wide eyed for a moment before blinking.
"I didn't recognize...didn't..."
"It's really fine. Do you mind hurrying? I'm in a bit of a rush..." he nodded fast before going over to the register and swiping it and bringing back her receipt.
She scratched a barely legible signature on it and took her copy; grabbing her bag and getting down from the stool. As she walked away; toward the more crowded part of the airport her phone buzzed again.
From: Unknown
Where are you going sweetheart?
She turned again to look around but she didn't recognize a specific face. People were all around her and she was starting to get a little overwhelming. She had this overwhelming feeling like something like this has happened before.
So she started to walk faster; ducking in front and behind people. She was sure some people were irritated with it but at the moment she didn't care. Her anxiety was increasing.
She got back to her place just as she spotted Colin coming down the escalators. He smiled at her as he descended; bag hanging off one of his shoulders and his other in a modest looking sling. She was torn between the feeling of panic and gushing over his hurt arm.

Colin
"I wasn't expecting you to be here." He stopped in front of her.
"I came to surprise you. You don't need to catch a cab." His eyes searcher her face before he frowned.
"What's wrong? You look scared." She bit her lip.
"Just...this really strange guy at the restaurant. He was being a little weird flirting and all. Hey, I got you a bagel; didn't know if you were hungry or not." She lifted the bagel to his vision as she glanced around.
"Thank you. You sure you're okay?" She looked back up and nodded.
"I'm good. I missed you..." she smiled.
"I missed you too, it's been a long couple of weeks." He placed a hand on the small of her back; leaning to kiss her head. She held onto him for a few moments before they pulled away.
"It has. Come on, we should get your bags. Give this to me." She took his book bag and slung it over her shoulder. They moved over to the baggage claim to get his suitcase before they started to leave. She was acting weird; more weird than usual, and he couldn't help but to notice.
They made it back to the truck and put his bags in the trunk. He paused after and stared down at her.
"Tell me what's wrong; tell me now." She stared at him for a few minutes before sighing.
"I think someone is watching me."
