Katie's POV

I found myself sitting under the tree again with my cousins and Nick. Only a few hours until we will go back to North Carolina. If only time stopped, I wish I could stay as a kid and be as carefree as my twin cousins - incase you don't know, they're Jane and James. So anyways, there was an awkward space between me and Nick since this morning I woke up. Did I do something? I'm not a bad ass, I never do anything.

David and Natts were -as usual- arguing about David's skills. According to Natts, his skills are being weird, idiotic, dorky and stuff. Well, I think you know what happens next. Natts hits David, David hits Natts. Just the same old sibling story. Rob went inside to drink water. Jessa went out to meet the boyfriend. I sighed with satisfaction.

"I call dibs in the bedroom!" David yelled.

"Nu-uh! I did!" Natts argued.

The fight never stops.

Rob didn't come back. Natts walked away, leaving the three of us. David got hungry and went inside. Now it's just the two of us and silence. . .

"Katie?" He croaked.

"Hum, yeah?"

"Will you come with me somewhere private?" He asked, shyly.

"Uh sure? Maybe the woods?" I shrugged.

He nodded."Good idea!"

"Wait, you're not gonna leave me there and let Big foot to eat me right?"

He let out a chuckle."Katie, it's almost a month and you still don't trust me?"

"No really. You aren't gonna do that right?"

"No. I told you before, I would never hurt you even if you want me to."

That was the time I turned red. I bit my lip to hide my smile.

"Now let's go. We don't wanna waste our good time here."

I nodded and walked ourselves to the woods. Where we hugged. Stop it brain, you'll make me go red. I pushed the thought away.

"WHAT WAS THAT?" I asked, in a panic whispered voice.

"That was just a rabbit, Katie."

Something rustled again. "IT'S NOT A FREAKING RABBIT."

"Well it is a rabbit see?" He said looking down on the white fluffy rabbit. I guess I haven't told him about my fear of rabbits.

"Don't panic. It might smell panic. Stay calm." I say.

"Kate? Rabbits can't smell panic. Don't tell me you're afraid of one?"

My cheeks turned pink. "Y-yes I'm scared."

"Aww that's cute!" He cooed then leaned towards my ear.

"I will never let anything hurt you even a harmless rabbit."

A shiver went down my spine. I turned red and shrugged that one away. "Let's go. We need to go somewhere don't we?"

He chuckled and nodded.

*

"Here we are!"I huffed.

"That was a good walk isn't it, little ninja?" He smiled, ruffling my hair.  I sent him a glare.

"Oh sorry, it became a habit of mine." He says apologetically.

I rolled my eyes. "What are we doing here by the way?"

He hesitated and sat on a wood. "I want to tell you a story about a girl and a guy."

"Okay, i'm listening." I say, sitting next to him.

"There was this guy who likes skateboarding. He met a girl who also skates and has a nice, funny and weird soul."

"Her blonde hair. . ." He says, tucking a stray hair behind my ear.

". . . is a beautiful shade of blonde. Her laugh is music to my ears. Her smile makes my heart go faster. Her blush, how could I forget? That was the cutest thing I ever saw."

Is he talking about me? Is he? Is he? Is he?

"She has an older brother, she had her heart broken before by an idiot who cheated on her. Well on the other side, there's this guy. I already told you he likes skateboarding. His hair is in an odd dark color. He has a little sister, he also had his heart broken by some girl who also cheated on him." He says in a low tone.

Henry. He was the one who broke my heart.

"The guy liked - wait more like Loved - the girl ever since they first met. They became friends. They even kissed and hugged. I think i'm forgetting something. . . "

I raised a brow, "What did you forget?"

"I forgot to tell you the girl's name. And what the guy thinks about her." He smiled.

"Go on, tell me." I smiled back.

"The guy thinks she's beautiful! He thinks she'a amazing, funny, weird, and a lot more. The best part is? What he thought was true. She had all of those. She is close enough to perfect! And her name is. . ." He inhaled.

"Katherine Allison Green." He says slowly.

I couldn't fight a grin back. I turned red. "I'm close to perfect?"

He nodded. "That is why I love you."

My heart raced and jumped. Is this real? Or is this fantasy? The color on my face didn't go away. It stayed.

"I love you, I love you, I love you. Will you be my girlfriend? Will you be the love of my life? Will you be mine? I know we just met. But as I said before, there's something about you that I can't get my words and all." He says, kneeling down. "Will you?"

My cheeks hurt from smiling. "Yes. I'd be honored."
