Nick's POV
Here we are, on my bed, watching The Notebook and nothing more. Katie's been awfully quiet. I've been wondering why. Is it because this is her favorite movie so everyone should be on mute? No, she isn't that kind of girl. In fact, she would be laughing and pointing out weird things from the movie. What happened? Or maybe because we're watching the fight between Allie and Noah?
"Nick?" She spoke.
"Katie?" I mimicked.
"Why is Courtney calling you Nickyboo?" She said with a annoyed voice.
"I don't know, She used to call me that 2 years before." I shrugged.
"Oh." She says in a quiet voice. "Is she trying to steal you from me?"
What's up with her and her questions? I raised my eye brow. "No. She'll never get me. Why?"
"Just wondering. . ." She sighed.
After a few milliseconds, she started asking me more questions about Courtney and I. She was also jumping into conclusions. The last thing I want to talk about is Courtney. Why is she even jealous of that freak?
"Why are you even jealous of her?" I asked.
"I'm not jealous." She answered with a straight face.
"Look, Katie. I moved on. I don't like Courtney anymore. It's been two years since our past. Stop talking about her. This is getting ridiculous."
"Moved on? So you did like her. . ." She mumbled.
"Okay. Why are you being like this?" I groaned.
"I APOLOGIZE FOR BEING THE BAD GUY HERE, NICK. I APOLOGIZE FOR BEING A PROTECTIVE GIRLFRIEND. I WAS CURIOUS! That was all!" She shouted.
"Stop being jealous. You're better than everyone I know. You know that." I sighed.
"Everyone you know? Don't you mean EVERY GIRL YOU KNOW?"
"Katie, I don't know what's up, but what is going on with you thinking about other girls and me?!" My tone raised, but I can't just shout at her like a guy would.
"I don't know." She muttered, before averting her eyes on me. "WHY DON'T YOU ASK COURTNEY OR THE ENTIRE FEMALE POPULATION?!?"
This side of her scared and got me mad. I never thought that she'd be like this. I never thought a normal girl like Katie would shout like that. I bet my parents and Leila are wondering what's happening at the moment.
"THAT'S IT. I'M OUT." She yelled, stomping off my room.
"WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!? KATIE! Wait!"
"NO. LEAVE ME ALONE." She said, running down the stairs.
"Please understand and listen to what I'm gonna say! Wait!" I shout, grabbing her wrist.
She pulled it back, and pushed me away. "I told you to leave me alone!"
She ran out of the house, I can feel my parents staring at me as I ran after her. I saw her wiping her eyes as she ran. Frustrated, I kicked a little rock, hardly. I ruffled my hair angrily. I hate Courtney for meeting Katie. I hate Courtney for talking to Katie. I hate what Courtney did. I hate everything at the moment. I sighed and ran after Katie.

I found myself infront of Katie's house. She's a fast runner actually, which was weird because she doesn't run. I shook my head at my thoughts. I knocked on the door and waited. No one came and opened the door.
"Katie! Open the door! Look, I'm sorry!" I yelled, before sighing.
"No. Go Away!" Her muffled voice yelled back. I'm thinking she's next to the door.
"I'm sorry, Katie. I really am." I reply, knocking once more.
"NO! LEAVE!" She yelled once more.
I noticed the doorbell on the right side, I pressed it too much. Then, I knocked again. This time the door opened. But it wasn't Katie, it was a Familiar looking Man.
"Didn't she tell you to leave?" Her dad, Ryan asked.
"I'm sorry, Sir. I was trying to apologize to her." I sighed, shoving my hands in my pockets.
"Give her some space, She needs to think." He says. I nodded.
"Please tell her, I'm really sorry and I love her. Thank you, Sir." I said, before walking away.
