Katie's POV

He laughs. The water splashes as his body disappeared. I did a little happy dance until something grabs my leg. And the sunlight was the last thing I saw. . .

I regret something I did before sunking down. What is it you ask? Screaming. Yes, screaming. Why? If I didn't scream, Water won't make its way to my lungs or wherever they go. I sputtered as I panicked. I started kicking my legs, the thing that grabbed my leg didn't let go. I opened my eyes, I saw Nick grinning as he pulled my leg. I slapped him and tried to swim away. Guess what? It's a blue moon! I succeeded on swimming away from Nick and his octopus-like hands.

Once I reached the shore, I glared at non-existing Nick. Well, In short. . . I glared at nothing. There were splashes, then there was that idiot I fell for. He grinned at me as his so-called bangs fell on his forehead. I glare at him, I tried my best but how can you not find him attractive?

"Like what you see?" He smirks.

"In your dreams, Romeo." I rolled my eyes.

"My darling, Juliet. Have I ever told you that you looked beautiful under the daring sunlight?" He recites.

"Nicholas. You suck at being Romeo."

"Thank you, lovely Juliet." He bows.

"Whatever floats your boat, Nicholas." I roll my eyes once more.

"Speaking of boats, If we were a cruise, I'd ship us." He grins before sinking down again. He starts swimming towards the shore. Splash sounds were heard as he swam closer. He's kind of a fast swimmer, yeah whatever.

"That is so cheesy but so NOT original." I say as soon as he reached the shore.

"You're eyes are bluer than the Atlantic ocean and baby, I'm all lost at sea." He says, leaning down to kiss my cheek.

I couldn't fight my blush away. "You are too cheesy."

"It's not my fault I fell in love. You are the one that tripped me." He smirks (He just likes smirking a lot. He doesn't have a muscular disease, don't worry.)

"How clumsy of you, Klutz." I laugh.

~A few hours later, at the pier.

I found myself sitting on the wooden floor of the pier. I swung my legs forward and backward. Why am I there? Easy. I'm thinking deeply. About? Oh, you know. . . Summer, Nick, School, Nick, Home, Nick. Everything I think about evolved around Nick. I look up at the stars. The stars right now are wonderful, I thought to myself. I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night. The only fear I'm feeling right now is losing and leaving Him. The tears threatened to spill, I bit the inside of my cheeks to prevent them.

"Aren't you getting cold down there?"

I turned to look, Nick helds up a black jacket. I smiled at him, He puts the jacket on my shoulders. It smelt just like him. I'm gonna miss everything about him. I internally sighed. He sits down next to me.

"What are you thinking about?" He asks, looking above us.

"You know what I'm thinking about." I sigh.

He sighs and forces out a smile. "Promise me you'll think of me everytime you look up in the sky and see a star."

"Promise me you'll do the same." I smile. Did you know? My heart is beating so fast, I could die right now.

"Of course. I always keep my promises." He says, helding his pinky up.

"Pinky promise? Really, Nick?" I raise my brow at him. He just shrugs. "Maybe we can use something like Okay? Okay. and Always.

 "Infinitum." He suggests.

I don't reply. I raise my eye brow.

"Infinitum." He repeats.

I don't reply.

"Infinitum?" He repeats once more.

"Infinitum. . . ?" I answer after forever.

"That's better." He says, leaning closer to kiss my cheek.

I stayed still. He stops and pulls back. "I shouldn't have done that."

"Why?"

"Because I'd like to do this." He smiles, pressing his lips on mine. Fireworks exploded just like the first time we kissed. Butterflies flew wildly inside my stomach - and no, I didn't eat caterpillars and there's no caterpillar inside me.

"Thanks to you, I'm gonna suffer with this disease." He asks what kind of disease. I answer him. "Summertime Sadness."

He chuckles, pulling me up. "I will miss you so much." I stand up properly and we start walking towards the Last Carnival. Where people are.

"I will miss you like the Stars miss the Sun in the morning and during rainy days." I say, intertwining our fingers.
