Katie's POV
Skittle World War ended. Nick told me to get dressed. I asked why, He answered me by telling me we will go somewhere. He also told me to wear a skirt or a dress. Without any doubt, he likes surprises - oh he likes surprising me. That special gross child that I love. I couldn't hide my huge grin. Good thing no one can see me at the moment.
I went up to my room, opened my closet and the hangers creaked as I slid them to the left. What should I wear? I searched for a comfy dress. I suggested that I should wear something nice since this will be my last two weeks with him. Tears prickled my eyes. No tears, Katherine. Not now. I breathe heavily.
**
"Hey." I say, as I walked down the stairs.
"You look beauuuuutiful." Nick says, rushing towards me. He wraps his arms around my small figure.
"Dude, No PBA." I warn
"What's a PBA?"
"Public Boyfriend Affection."
"You little idiot." He chuckled.
"Wow. Thanks, butthead." I rolled my eyes.
"You're still an idiot." He pointed out.
"And you're still a butthead." I shot.
"Whatever." He shrugs.
I roll my eyes. "Where are we going, though?"
"We're going to China!" He says happily, clapping his hands.
"You look stupid." I laugh.
"We look alike." He says.
"No, No, No." I say, snapping my fingers in a Z formation. "I have class and you don't."
"Stop taking quotes from movies." He groans.
"What movie is that from?" I challenged.
"Parent Trap." He smirks.
"I still question about your humanity." I whisper.
"Heard that."
"Fine. Where the hell are we going?"
"Somewhere you don't know." He grins.
"You're not gonna murder me are you?" I ask.
"Katherine. We've been in a relationship for about 2 months and you still don't trust me?" He pouts, putting a hand on his chest. "It hurts."
"We are?" I gasp.
"Shut up." He hisses.
"Snake." I teased.
"Cat."
I let out a long sigh. "Let's just go."
**
I stared out the window as he drove. I'm still guessing where we'll be going. I know it's been a while but I didn't had the energy to explore around. I hummed a few songs and thought about my happy times with Nick. It's just I don't wanna leave. I wanna stay here with him. I know I sound lovestruck but who cares?
"We're here." He says.
"Where exactly?"
"Here." He repeats, this time. . . He has a huge grin plastered on his face.
I stare out of the window, I don't really know where we are. But it seems familiar. It looks like The Silent Park. But I'm positive that it's not the Park. Why? It looks too different.
I closed my eyes. Memories flashed back into my mind. I remember the night we went out on a dinner date and he danced with me. I remember that he even kissed my cheek, well queue the internal screams. I felt a pang on my chest, It also reminded me that I lost a lot of time, and now I think I will lose him.
"What are you thinking?" He asks as we walked towards a bench.
"You know, our days together." I smile weakly.
"And?"
"How I'm close to losing you." I mutter.
His eyes soften, He wraps his arms around me. "I will always be yours."
I stay speechless. I wrapped my arms around him as well. I inhaled his scent. "I will miss you."
"I will miss you too, love. I will also miss your stupidity."
I pull away from the hug. "Aca-scuse me?"
"Aca-awkward." He whispers.
"You idiot." I laugh.
"That one wasn't funny!" He complains.
"Yeah, Your face is funny."
"Wow. But you love me." He smirks.
"I lied."
"No you didn't."
"Yes, I did." I smirk.
"Well, prove it." He challenges.
"On what way?"
"Kiss me." He grins.
I shook my head. "Never in a million years."
"You sure about that?"
"Yes." I smirk.
"Good luck with that, then." He says, pulling me for a surprise kiss.
And I could honestly say, I felt like exploding. Thank the fireworks. Thank the butterflies. Thank the sparks. The dragons inside my stomach are now dancing, My heart beats so fast. I'm sure that I am blushing my life away and lastly, I think I found him.
