I looked up. Suddenly we were all up, running around the room trying to find where the phone is. It came to the point where we were running into each other. I looked under my bed, then through a pile of phones.

"Found it!" Josh shouted from the other side of the room. I ran to him and snatched the phone out of his hand, not even caring that it was slightly rude. I clicked answer.

"Hello?!" I said, trying not to sound too excited, even though I was. Cool and collected Tammy.

"Oh hello Tammy," said a voice I knew all too well. The same voice I heard this morning.

"Amy? What do you want?" I asked annoyed that she would call at this time. Saying I was a little disappointed when got Amy on the phone instead of the radio person would be an understatement.

"Oh nothing," she said in an overly casual way, "just wondering how the competition is going for you."

I looked at all the phones scattered around the room, "Pretty well." I repiled, not buying the fact that she just called me just to chat. For crying outloud this morning she was telling me to get lost. Why would all of a sudden she want to talk to me? Maybe she's bipolar...

"That's cool." she said, her tone not really matching her words, "you know, I think I might win this thing!"

"What?" I asked confused.

"You didn't know?" she said in mock sympathy, "I entered for the radio contest too! Maybe I'll win and get to see Austin Mahone again!"

Oh now she's just rubbing it in. Well there goes my 'she's bipolar' thought. She's still as rude. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, trying not to cuss her out.

"You know that's great." I said, picking at my fingernails. On my bed Austin was talking to someone on the phone. Josh and Taylor flanked either side of him, looking very excited.

"Yeah, I guess it is great, but you wouldn't know since your family is too poor to buy you any tickets to see him."

Her words snapped me from excited little group. "I would appreciate it if you didn't judge me or my family." I hissed, annoyed that she would actually go there. "Considering the fact that you don't know me nor my family's finical standings, it gives you even more of reason not to say anything. So go talk to someone who would actually take your crap and maybe fuck yourself while you're at it." I didn't bother to correct her about the fact that I'm not exactly poor, but then again there's no need to brag.

I angrily hit the end button. I secretly wished I had one of those flippy phones, it would've made the ending so much more dramatic. I could've just slapped the phone shut. Enough of that, I looked at the cheerful trio.

"Whats up?" I asked, throwing the phone on the table. I walked to them, taking deep breaths.

Taylor put a finger on her mouth signaling me to be quiet, well ok. She then pointed at the radio.

Confused I walked to the stereo so I could hear it better.

"I think I'm gorgeous," came a voice through the speakers. Great, they're starting to put egoistic people on the radio.

"Well you sure have a lot of self confidence!" said the radio lady with a laugh. I shook my head, what does this have to do with anything?

I turned back to Taylor and she was practically bouncing off the walls. When she saw me, I looked at her confusingly. She facepalmed herself then pointed at Austin.

I put the pieces together. An arrogant on the radio, Austin talking into the phone, Taylor making weird hand gestures.

Austin's on the radio.

Wait.

Austin is on the radio... That means...

I can't believe it! It actually worked! This ridiculous plan actually worked! The phone collecting... it worked!

I screamed at the top of my lungs letting all the relief and excitement out.

They all snapped their head at me looking at me like I've grown two heads. Or maybe the fact that I screamed like a serial killer was after me. Same difference, they looked at me like I was cray cray.

"What was that?" Said the radio lady.

"Oh nothing, just my friend getting too excited." Austin replied smoothly.

"Let's put her on the phone," the lady suggested.

Great idea!

"I can't believe I won!" I yelled into the phone as soon as I got my hands on it. I was about to do a happy dance. I couldn't stay put.

"Well you better believe it 'cause you and a friend will be seeing Austin Mahone live at Madison Square Garden!"

I let out a fangirl scream, "Yes! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you radio lady!!!"

She laughed, "You're welcome!"

We talked for a few more minutes about Austin Mahone then we ended the call.

I turned to Austin, Taylor, and Josh. A smile started to form on my face.

"Oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god!" I didn't know how many times I said it. Taylor and I were jumping up and down holding each others shoulders.

When we finally calmed down Taylor said, "I can't believe it actually worked!" She then surveyed the surrounding, taking in the phones everywhere, pillows on the ground. "Well it would've sucked if it didn't work."

I agreed.

"Anyone want ice cream to celebrate?!" Austin asked.

"Yes!" We all replied at the same time.

"But you're paying." I said walking out the room with everyone else.

The guys got into Austin's car while Taylor waited for me to lock up.

"Hey, I'm sorry about what I said back there." I said to Taylor as I turned around.

"It's ok," she said sadly, "it proved my point. He doesn't like me."

Austin honked his horn and we walked to his car. I face palmed myself and shook my head. Taylor, blind as ever.
