Okay, now I think Emily7456 requested this one, and so yeah, why not write it for the sake of more young Marauder love? Oh yeesh, I think I'm getting a LOT of young Marauder love lately, so after all these requests I'll start coming up with my own. Maybe a Tom Riddle X Reader because I feel like it. EH.

"FINALLY! No more school for the next two months!" you heard your friend Alice cheer as you and she headed to the Hogwarts Express after yet another amazing school year has ended. You just nodded in the meanwhile, a smile creeping on your face.

"Yeah. I guess," you replied lightly as you both got packing on the train, and as the train began to move from the platform you both waved at all the professors, the castle still looming in view for a while before it disappeared altogether.

Alice sighed contently as she sank down on a chair in the compartment you were in, and you sat down as well, glancing at her. "So, what are your plans this summer?" she asked.

You shrugged as you glanced out of the window. "I don't know just yet. I mean, what with my parents being Muggles and everything they'll expect my things to be in my trunk and not taken out at all this summer. It'll be hell without you!"

"Ah, but it won't be that bad!" Alice said in an effort to cheer you up. "Not when you have a certain wizard in mind."

At those words, you blushed profusely, knowing exactly who she was talking about. And right on time too, because then the wizard in question suddenly appeared in front of your compartment, his buddies flanked on either side of him.

"Ahh. If it isn't for Ms. (Y/L/N)," James said charmingly. "Hi."

You felt yourself blush as you turned to him, his black messy hair sticking wildly on his head and his glasses askew, his hazel eyes shining with breathless excitement.

"Hi," you waved back, smiling sheepishly.

"Ooh, let's just leave these lovebirds alone for a minute," you heard Sirius mutter to the rest of the Marauders, and even Alice fell silent as James reached for your hand and pulled you out of your compartment.

"So, how're you spending your summer?" James asked, his hand not letting go of yours at all, and his eyes never leaving yours.

You gulped, but still managed to keep your cool. "Well, I'm just going to hang around with my Muggle friends. I mean, you know me, James! I'm Muggleborn, not like most of the rest of you!"

"Ah, well, of course I know," James laughed. "Wait--what? You're--"

"SHH!" You covered his mouth, in fear that Lucius Malfoy could hear, but luckily he wasn't strutting around in the corridors like he normally would. "Yeah. I am."

"And here I am thinking how amazing a wizard's life can be," James murmured as your hand fell away from his mouth. "Hey, you don't mind showing me around the Muggle world some time? We can hang out...the way Muggle borns might be able to. You know about it more than I do."

"Would that account for some strange reason, James?" you asked, raising an eyebrow in question.

"Well..." James blushed slightly as he raised a hand to cup your cheek, which threw you off slightly but you didn't flinch. "I kinda like you for a while, (Y/N). And I guess hanging out with you for a while wouldn't really hurt, right? Not when I have so much to learn about the world beyond just wizards."

You smiled, then blushed even further as James's breath began to fan softly on your face. Then you nodded and, just to be evil, kissed James on the cheek. "Of course, James. In fact, you can send your parents an owl now, and we can arrange a day."
