I'm going to come up with an original one-shot for now. This is a Draco Malfoy X Reader set in the Prisoner of Azkaban, and you're in Gryffindor in this one.

(Y/N): Your Name

"Well done, Harry!" you heard your new Care of Magical Creatures professor, Rubeus Hagrid, call out in pride as one of your friends, Harry, and the Hippogriff he was riding on, Buckbeak, touched down on the ground and approached the class. You smiled as you clapped along with Ron and Hermione, and Harry could only muster a sloppy grin as he got off of Buckbeak, landing on the ground and approaching you and his friends.

"Good job," you managed to congratulate Harry, patting him on the back.

Harry nodded and smiled at you. "Thanks."

"Well then, if that wasn't the easiest thing," you heard a drawling voice speak out, and you rolled your eyes at the person who just spoke. Draco Malfoy, a Slytherin in your year, started to strut up to the Hippogriff now, who was just standing there with an angry look in his bright orange eyes. "Yeah, so you're not dangerous at all, aren't you, you great ugly brute?"

All eyes were now trained on Malfoy as he continued to advance towards the Hippogriff, unaware of the strike that was yet to come.

"Malfoy," Hagrid murmured, his eyes widening.

And then, just as Malfoy reached about an inch away from the creature, Buckbeak reared up on his hooves, similar to how a horse would, his talons waving in the air for a bit before slashing downwards onto Malfoy's arm, knocking him over. Students were starting to scream and run amok, trying to get away from Buckbeak, as if they themselves were losing their heads. Hagrid, in the meanwhile, ran right in front of Buckbeak, raising his hands in an attempt to calm the Hippogriff down.

"You idiot, Malfoy," you muttered, gritting your teeth as you felt Ron take your arm and pull you back. Hagrid had already warned the class earlier that a Hippogriff can be very easily offended, and you were only surprised it didn't kill Harry at all.

"Whoa whoa! Down, Buckbeak!" Hagrid cried, and Buckbeak eventually calmed down enough to stop flashing his talons up in the air and snack on another ferret Hagrid tossed, which made you breathe an easy sigh of relief.

"It killed me! It's killed me!" Malfoy whimpered, clutching onto his arm where Buckbeak slashed him.

Hagrid now towered over Malfoy--literally--as he tried to calm Malfoy down too. "Easy now, it's just a scratch," he assured him.

"HAGRID!"

You were shocked to see Hermione break free from you, Ron, and Harry, walking over to Hagrid and Malfoy with a worried glint in her eyes.

"He has to be taken to the hospital," she eventually told him, which Hagrid nodded and agreed to.

"I'm a teacher, I'll do it," Hagrid assured her, picking Malfoy up as if he was no more than a rag doll, while Malfoy was still whimpering.

"You're going to regret this," Malfoy managed to say now, wincing in pain as Hagrid carried him, passing by you with only a pained look in his eyes. "You and your bloody chicken," he added to Hagrid, his head lolling back up and curling in to his body.

"CLASS DISMISSED!" Hagrid called out to the rest of the students, who left the forest almost at once.

"Come on," Harry motioned to you, Ron, and Hermione, after having petted Buckbeak once more. "We'd better head back to the common room, Divination homework isn't going to write itself."
