Another request from SolosSister. :) Thanks. This takes place during Order of the Phoenix.

"Hey (Y/N)? You coming?" you heard your friend Ron ask as you and the rest of Dumbledore's Army were being dismissed for the holidays.

You shook your head as you took out your wand, Disillusioning yourself. "No. Go on," you said absently, waving a hand to Ron and Hermione as they left the Room of Requirement for the Gryffindor common room as you noticed Cho from Ravenclaw hang around, seemingly becoming interested in her reflection in the mirror. Or she was probably waiting for Harry...? In that moment you felt a bit angry at her--wasn't she interested in Cedric before he died? What made her want Harry all of a sudden? Besides, over the last few times you met with Dumbledore's Army, you admittedly felt close to Harry. Who knew exactly why? Something in you made you attracted, the way he taught you guys with pride and confidence, knowing that what he was doing would help you way more than Umbridge's assigned readings ever would. Rather, you felt close to him since the Yule Ball last winter.

But if you didn't say anything, you would have your chance taken away.

And unfortunately that night, you did.

You didn't mean to watch. But after a bit of conversation, you watched with terror clenching your chest and widened eyes as mistletoe magically sprouted over their heads.

"Mistletoe," you heard Cho breathe in wonder.

Harry stared up at the plant for a moment before he looked back at Cho, still completely oblivious to your presence in the room. "Probably full of Nargles though."

"What are Nargles?" Cho asked.

"No idea," Harry admitted. And then it happened. The two of them leaned into each other and kissed, eyes slipping shut as their lips latched and released--

That was it. Without another thought, you slipped through the open door of the Room of Requirement and ran away, tears stinging your eyes, not bothering to remove the Disillusionment charm until you were in the common room, where Ron and Hermione were waiting by the fire--Hermione was writing a letter, and Ron seemed to be finishing his Transfiguration essay. The moment you saw them, you removed the Charm and began to cry.

"(Y/N)? What happened?" Hermione asked, bolting up from her letter as she ran to you.

You shook your head as you kept sobbing into your hands. "Harry--he--and--I--Cho--"

"Whoa. Slow down, mate." Ron helped you down to the armchair by the fire, and he offered you a handkerchief, which you took gratefully and blew your nose. "Harry, you, Cho..."

"He kissed Cho under the mistletoe!" you finally cried, feeling wave upon wave of betrayal and hurt and strong denial and disbelief rock through your entire system. "Harry freaking kissed Cho like--I don't even get it! What's he see in her that I don't?"

For a few stunned seconds, Ron and Hermione stared at you when you screamed that out. It was true, you liked Harry for a while, and they knew. But who would have thought how much Cho meant to him? You've always seen them together for a bit, and every time you did you admittedly felt jealous. But now! To have him kiss Cho as if...as if...as if...

As if you never existed.

Before either of them could say a word, though, Harry appeared, shuffling his feet forward slowly as he caught sight of Ron and Hermione comforting you, their arms around you.

"Hey guys," he said with a feeble wave. "Uh, what's going--"

"You screwed things up big time, mate," Ron told him.
