"Why would you tell me that?! None the less when I just wake up from being in a plane crash!" I yell at him. "How could you?!" Tears flood my eyes.
"Ma'am I know that you aren't happy about.."
"HAPPY!! HOW COULD I BE HAPPY?! When you give someone news then say 'I know you aren't happy'.. That is the worse thing to say to a person!!!" Tim and Jax walk in.
"Mommy?" Jax runs over to me and crawls up next to me. Tim just stands at the door.
"I'm okay baby, now doctor please let me enjoy my company." He nods and gets up to leave. "Baby I am okay."
"But you are crying.." He looks up to me with a pouty face. I see the doctor and Tim talking to each other right outside the door.
"Jax baby, what have I told you several times? Not to worry about me." Tim comes in and sits down next to me.
"Hey bud."
"Mama is hurting."
"I know buddy."
"You realise I'm right here and I'm fine you two." Jax sets his hand on my leg. I feel absolutely nothing.
"Ella, I know all of it. Also Luke and Nikki are coming up here.." I cut him off.
"Wait what about the café?"
"Henry and Kalyn are going to stay and take care of it. Luke and Nikki will be here soon."
"Soon..? Like how soon? When did they leave?"
"Shortly after we got to the hospital and I got Jax calmed down." He puts a hand on Jax's back. "He didn't like being here.. Especially after what happened the last time he was in a hospital. He wasn't happy that you were in here. Thought he'd lose you too." I cuddle to Jax more and Tim's phone goes off. "Speaking of those two.." He answers it. "Hello?" I zone him out.
"Mama I'm scared." Jax looks up to me.
"Why baby?"
"Like Tim told you.. I don't wanna lose you, mama."
"Awe, baby you won't lose me." I hug Jax and he hugs me tightly. "Tim, will you get the doctor and then take Jax out to eat. He must be hungry."
"But I don't wanna leave you mama." Tim picks Jax up.
"Come on Jax, let your mom rest. She'll need it." Jax sighs and they leave. I lay my head back and close my eyes.

"Knock, knock." I open my eyes and the doctor was there. "Tim said that you wanted to talk before anyone else got here."
"Yes. What do I have to do to walk again?" Dr. Axen rubs the back of his neck.
"Ellanor, that would take years. It may not even be possible for you to walk again."
"Don't tell me I can't. I don't care how long as long as I can walk again. I need to walk. I can't be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life."
"I understand that's how you feel, but I can't promise you that you will walk."
"You don't need to promise me, you need to tell me there is a chance." He sighs.
"Yes there is a chance that you will walk again, but as I said before it will more than likely take years for you to walk again. Please understand that."
"Ella!" Nikki comes rushing to my bed and hugs me. Luke goes to Dr. Axen and shakes his hand. Introduces himself and Nikki.
"Ellanor and myself were talking about her walking. She is determined to walk again even though it would take several years, and it's possible she won't walk again."
"Don't say that there is possibly not a possibility. You don't know Ella well enough. She is bull-headed."
"Luke I'm right here." He turns and smiles.
"You love me though."
"Non-voluntary."
"Right." I lay my head back and I feel the bed dip a little. Jax is now curled up next to me. I put my arm around him and fall asleep.
