Anywhoop xD
Soooo in the last chapter we were hitting some problems with Laehal and Teriaj...so now we have a Sever chapter!
Last time we were seeing Sever, he had just called up his second friend. Let's see what happens next.

Sever paced exactly three more times around his house--which isn't very far at all, seeing as his house is a small shack-like building--before picking up the phone again.
This time, the phone rang before he could pound in the numbers.
"H-hello?" he asked warily.
"Have you found anything yet, Sever? I'm getting impatient, and you know how I hate waiting."
Sever groaned inwardly and anxiously rubbed his free hand against his thigh. "No...but I have one more person to call, and by then I'm sure the first two will have found something. You've got to be patient, Shayel. This stuff doesn't come up in twenty minutes. It could take a day or two."
Shayel made a very unattractive combination of a scream and a wail on the other end of the line. "A day or two?! A day or two! Laehal won't survive in a hostile city on his own for that long! You had better hurry up, or I will find someone else to find my son!"
He won't survive very long in your hands either, Sever thought. He was beginning to really dislike Shayel. She was a bit annoying.
"I promise you, it won't take more than a day and a half. Now if you would excuse me, I have one more call to make, and if I don't you will have to wait longer than you would otherwise."
Shayel grumbled to herself, then hung up the phone. Sever rubbed his temples. It was his fault that he was in this mess, all from the beginning; he had forged Laehal's papers, and he had told Laehal that he had done it. And now he had to fix it.
The phone rang only once. "Pomrey called a while ago telling me the plan. I've already gotten my job started. I'll get some of my people in Birch Hills--that's the place we have the Laehal decoy going to. I have someone who will dress up as Laehal and some people who will get footage of him entering a train going to Birch Hills, with some actors entering with the decoy and exiting the train. Then we'll get footage of the decoy leaving the station and heading into the town. They've got around 1 000 people in the town, so it's fairly small, but it will still be enough. I have people in Birch Hills--as I've said already--and they can take the decoy into their house."
Sever sighed with relief. He could always count on Pomrey and Saia to get everything together.
"Thank you Saia."
"Hey Sever, stop worrying, why don't you? Have I ever failed you?" Sever could hear Saia's grin.
"I'm just...worried. About Laehal. And I...," Sever paused. He knew he could trust Saia to not judge him, but Saia wouldn't understand. "I regret messing up his life. Shayel's a nightmare."
"I told you, Sever."
"I know, I know. I should have listened. But she put up a good act, and she was offering a pretty penny for it. I couldn't resist. Besides, the boy was five then, I didn't know that Shayel was a monster."
"It's alright, Sever. Now you should get some sleep and leave the rest up to us. We know what we're doing. And if that creature calls you up again, tell her I said even counterfeiters need their beauty rest." Saia then hung up.
Sever smiled. Saia was his best friend. He always made Sever feel better. And counterfeiting was a stressful job; if the cops caught on, it was to the jail cell for him.
Sever ended that day with a short meal and then fell into a deep sleep.
