Mr. Dominic slammed his fist on his desk. "For the last time Laehal, I am asking you why you did it."

"Don't I have the right to remain silent?"

"Not in this situation!" he yelled at me. "Now tell me or I will have to expel you!"

"Whoa, don't you think you're overreacting? It was just a food fight."

"Laehal, don't make me expel you. You are a great student, who gets good grades."

"Worried, are we?"

"Laehal, for the last time," he yelled after slamming his desk with an alarming strength, "why did you cause the food fight?"

"I want detention," Laehal replied.

"Laehal, no one wants detention!"

"Tell that to Deeliah," he mumbled.

"What was that?"

"I said 'tell that to Deeliah.'"

"What about her?" Mr. Dominic calmed down a bit and sat back down in his chair.

"She wasn't the one to cause the fight in the hallway. It was Kyrel. But she took the blame."

"Who gave her detention?"

"Mr. Tee--I mean, Mr. Thelmonston. Sir."

"Mr. Thelmonston?"

"Yes sir. He had enough proof I guess to do that. He had her admit and then cast her detention. At first he thought it was me, but I assure you that it was Kyrel, threatening Deeliah."

"Interesting...," he said, and then looked down at his desk and played with a folder. "So, about that detention sentence..."

"Please Mr. Dominic, I really need this. Just, trust me on this."

"Why do you want this so bad?"

"Please sir, if I tell you, you won't believe me," Laehal pleaded.

"Try me." Mr. Dominic then sat back in his chair with an amused look on his face.

And then Laehal told Mr. Dominic his plan.

"Alright, I'll give you detention," Mr. Dominic replied.

"Thank you sir!" exclaimed Laehal before he shook Mr. Dominic's hand and then fled the room.
