Ugh
But I do it for you guys soooo
Yeah
Anywhoop
Last chapter we were with Sever before he went to meet Saia to leave for Saskatchewan. Shayel couldn't go with them, and Sever is thinking about turning them both in...
This time we're back with Laehal and Teriaj, just after they've eaten.
Laehal has to return back to his hometown, so he can continue to grow up so that he can go up with Mother Nature to fulfill his destiny.

"So you've never had Olive Garden before?"
"No."
"I haven't either. Remember, I've been watching over you all my life on earth. There's no Olive Garden in your town."
"Right."
The two boys were standing outside of the Olive Garden, watching as people bustled from tent to tent in search of deals. The sun was shining brightly down on them, but it wasn't too hot.
"We should be going. You need to get back to your hometown—"
"But what about Shayel?" Laehal asked, worried.
"We'll figure that out eventually. She has her path, you have yours. Everything will all end up just as the Writer has Written."
"What if—"
Laehal, Teriaj is right. You need not worry. Everything will fall into place. He knows what he is doing.
Laehal was silent as he and Teriaj crossed the street and headed into the cover of the trees.
"Mother Nature, do your stuff."
Laehal thought it was weird how she could do that. Teleport them across the world in a few seconds.
There was a blinding flash, and suddenly Laehal was back in Orton.
"I like how quick that is," Laehal commented. "Teleporting, I mean."
It all happens here in the cavern. Because you are descended from one of my five children, it is easier to teleport you this way.
"Since I'm allowed into the cavern, right?"
Yes.
Taking in this information, Laehal nodded slowly, until he remembered Shayel.
"What if Shayel finds me now that we're back?"
"She shouldn't. I doubt she's on the lookout right now."
"What day is it?"
"Monday," Teriaj said casually.
"What?"
"It's Monday."
"We're missing school!"
"Your destiny as a Spinner is more important than a day of Pythagorean theorem."
"Shayel's been missing me for two days."
"I know. And today she's working—just as well a comrade of mine is working with her project today, his path has crossed yours, and if my comrade can get him to follow a certain path in his destiny, we won't have to worry about Shayel any longer."
"How?"
"We shall see. For now, you need a place to stay. I assume my comrade will get her project to decide today, so you may only be missing a single day of school."
At the moment, the two were standing in the middle of the forest again, at the spring where they had left for the Fate's Palace.
"And as Shayel is at work, you can get some things from her house, if you need."
"Where will I stay?"
"Umm..."
Well, we were thinking that you should stay with Teriaj, at the home he has.
"Where's that?"
"It's fairly close to where you live, which could pose as a problem if my comrade doesn't convince her project—"
"Stop calling him her project. Am I just your project?"
"No, of course not, you're much more than that."
"So is he. We were both Spun by a Spinner."
"But you'll become a Spinner—"
"And that makes me more important than him?"
"Well—"
"Maybe you should talk to Klóstis' latest eligible heir. I'm pretty sure all souls are equally important. And just because you're a Spinner's Watcher, doesn't mean you're more important than your comrade."
Mother Nature giggled. He's right, Teriaj.
"Sorry."
The two then began their walk to Teriaj's house, where Laehal might be staying the night.
