Prolouge

Third pov
"THERE SHE IS! SHE'S ESCAPING!"

A female figure jumped out the window, glass shards flying every where. The drop wasn't too far in her opinion, but for an average human, it would've been enough to break some bones.

She landed on the ground with grace, not even bothered by the glass shard that she had stepped on. She looked up ahead & saw the portal far away in front of her, and took off running.

'I'm free. If I get outta here, then I won't have to worry about Lucious anymore! If I run through that portal, I can get to the human world, and find Mother!'She thought.

She ran through the woods, the branches snapping as she ran. Her breathing quickened as she ran faster & faster away from the royal guards. The guards were arguing with each other, trying their hardest to find the escaping princess.

"We have to find us, otherwise the Lord will have our heads!"A guard yelled
"Sir yes sir!"

A light shined on her, and she could see her shadow.

"Fuck."She swore hastily, trying to run even faster.

"PRINCESS SIGHTED!"
"DON'T LET HER ESCAPE!"

Jumping over a log, she had made it to the portal to the world of the above. Her scowl turned into a smirk, and was about to run through the portal.

"Hold up little lady."

She turned around & saw the royal guards surrounding her & the portal. The woman looked around at all of them with a hard glare, her hands balled into fists.

"Come on. You tried to escape, and now you're coming back with us."A guard spoke out
"You don't know how to use the portal, and you'll probably die as soon as you get to the destination."
"There's no escape Princess Itami. You have lost."

The woman, now known as Itami, had a shadow over her eyes. Her smirk increasing with cockiness.

"Is that so? Try me."

Just before the royal guards could say anything else, Itami had jumped through the portal.

In the portal, everything around her had twisted, and pulled every part of her growing body. Itami tried her hardest to not scream at the unbearable pain of traveling.

'I will live! I know I will!'

The last thing she saw, was blue, sky & the bright sun. She didn't know if she had made it to a safe place, but the last thing she knew, was that she was alive.

Battered, bruised, cut & bloodied.

But alive.
