Chapter 64:Farewell

When I woke up this morning, I had the shittest of headaches. I found it really hard to get my ass out of bed/bedroom.

And to make it worse, I remembered that we were supposed to leave the island today.

I felt gutted about that. I wanted to stay here, and spend more time with all the females. I didn't even get to talk to the other citizens!

A kiss on a cheek perked me up a tad.
"Are you okay?"Ace asked
I sighed."I don't know. I want to be happy, but I'm upset about leaving...this is the last time I'll ever be here."
"I'm sorry..."He sighed
"No no it's not your fault! Life isn't fair, right? We couldn't have stayed here forever, we still need to continue our adventure together."

He hugged me from behind."I know..but I sort of feel like I'm taking you away from your home & family, its making me feel horrible."

"Ace, all pirates have to leave their family behind. If they brought their families, then...then..they'll get killed. I don't want that to happen to Mother, Akaoni, Casper...and you as well. But I know that I can't stop you. Anyway, point is, is that it was going to happen eventually. Plus, we'll see them again at....-"I blushed."Our wedding.."

He nuzzled his head in the crook of my neck."Thats true...we will see them then..at our wedding."I felt him blush.
I giggled, and faced him."Ace..I'm happy. I've never been this happy for a while now."I cupped his cheek."I just...I just can't wait for us to be united forever."
He held both my hands, leaning his own forehead on my own."I love you, I want us to be like this as a married couple."
I smile."Well we're going to be like that...No matter what."

Ace & I started to help the other crew members pack up ourselves. Everyone didn't want to leave, but we were gonna have to if we want to find the One piece, and achieve our dreams.

We spent 2-3 full hours of getting everything together. I'd say, it was probably one of the most longest hours of my life. After all, I am leaving my home for the last time.

'All right...seems like we're all ready to go.'

I squealed when I got tackled over by a strong force of nature, A.K.A:Mother & Akaoni. We were all piled up on top of each other in a sandwich. I immediately hugged them hack when they started to hug me.

"This is so hard.."Mother sighed
"I want to be happy that you're leaving to finish your dream..but I don't want you to leave."Akaoni whispered
I laughed sadly."I know how the both of you feel. I don't wanna leave either."

I let them both go."I wanna tell you both something extremely important. So listen up."

"Akaoni, you crazy flame girl, don't let people believe that you're just a nice girl. No..you need to show them that Akaoni is a badass bitch of the Royal guard army. Show them that you'll whack them all with your war hammer. Show 'em you're strong. And protect Mother & Casper with your own life. Speaking of Casper...you need to tell him how you feel. If you keep it bottled up within, you won't be able to express yourself to him, and you won't gain any confidence around him. I believe you can win his heart. He cares about you a whole heap...you just need to take the first step is all. Akaoni...we love you."

Akaoni shed a tear, before quickly wiping it away.

"Y-yeah!"She said

I turn to Mother."Mother, you've always been there for me. You always helped me out in the most dire of situations in my earlier, and teen years..but you see, I'm all grown up now. It's gonna be hard, but if you love me, let me go. I promise I'll see you again. I'll do everything I can to contact both you & Akaoni. I'll miss you, Mama..although I may be a lady now, I'll always still be your little princess that would run around the palace all day. I love you, Mama, I love you more than I can describe."

Mother smiled sadly, and didn't even bother to hide the fact that she was crying. Both Akaoni & Mother pulled me into a group hugged, and spread their tears onto my body. They both clung to my shirt as if I was the last thing on Earth. I kissed both of their heads gently & whispered to them both:

"I will miss you both."

They both pulled away."I'll miss you the most."Mother weeped
"I don't want you to leave.."

"Hey, leaving without saying goodbye?"A voice called out

We both turn & see Casper dressed up in his casual attire, but had tears instead of a soft smile. He walked over to me, and lightly tapped my head.

"I'm gonna miss you, ya know?"Casper said
I smiled weakly."And I'll miss you tol, Ghostie."

We both hugged. I had to push away the awkwardness, and hugged him like a teddy bear. I could feel his tears drip onto my neck & shift.

"Damn it..I'm crying."He whimpered
I laughed sadly."Dummy, of course you were gonna cry..."

He gave me a final squeeze before letting me go. He quickly dug down into his pocket, and placed something into my hands that felt cool to the touch.

"A parting gift."He explained

I opened my palm, and saw a dazzling moon stone in my hand. It was the size of my palm, and had a beautiful glow. I held it to my chest, and smiled at Casper.

"It's beautiful Casper, thank you."I said with a smile
"Well..I saw it & thought of you. I remember when you saw a moon stone in school, you had wanted to keep it. So..I thought I should give you one."

I was about to say something else when one of the crew members interrupts, and said that we needed to leave, as Marines are heading towards the island. I sighed, and gave everyone one last hug.

'Good bye, my family.'

We lifted anchor, and slowly started to sail away. I stood on top of the ship, waving my arms & hands around to day good bye.

"I LOVE YOU!!!!!"I screamed out to them.

And before I knew it, Siren island was gone from my line of vision.

I smiled to myself.

'See ya later, Mother, Akaoni, Casper! Don't miss me too much!'

(A/N:And finally the Siren island arc is over! And now, we just have to wait till the story ends.)
