Chapter 77:Blegh

*months later*

Itami pov
'Oh no not again.'

I ran out of my bed, and into the bathroom. I violently flipped the toilet seat open, and vomited out my puke. Ace, who has moved into my room, ran into the bathroom, and lifted my hair up so that it wouldn't get in the way. He made soothing noises as I let it all out.

After vomiting, I felt myself crying.

"Shhh don't cry..."Ace said, hugging me.
"But I don't know whats wrong! I'm so confused..I just want to be alright!"I weeped
Ace wiped away my tears."We'll find out whats wrong with you. And when we do, we'll get rid of it, together."
I sniffed, and wiped away the remainder of my tears."Thank you, Ace."
He smiled, and kissed my forehead."Its nothing."

He picked me up bridal style, and carried me back to bed. He switched the light off, and quickly cuddled with me, as it was winter at the moment. Ace & I immediately fell asleep.

*next morning*

I woke up & did the usual morning chores. I left Ace in the bedroom, and started organizing some paper work that I needed Thatch to sign. Afterward, I felt sick again, and quickly vommed.

'Alright thats it, I need to see that doctor.'

I cleaned myself up, and went off to dial Law's den den mushi number.

"What is it."

I giggled."Law you still greet people so sourly! Its me, Itami!"

Law stammered."Itami-ya! H-how are you?"

"Uuummm...personally I'm alright, but I think I need you to check up on me."

"What do you mean, Itami-ya?"

"I feel sick. Very sick."

"Where is your doctor?"

"Uhhmmm...he abandoned ship last week...I've been treating everyone, but I don't know what to do for this one."

"Do you have a medical book anywhere?"

"Hold on, let me check."

I quickly ran over to the infirmary with the den den mushi. I rummaged around, and found a very thick medical book.

"Yeah found one."

"Alright, now tell me, what's wrong with you?"

"Well....I've been feeling nauseous. Like I vomit whenever I smell something that doesn't usually bother me. I vomit late at night. I...um...how else can I see these next things? I feel like I need to pee more than usual, and my breasts feel heavy. Oh & I get random food cravings."

Law was silent for a moment.

"I think I might know what is wrong with you."

"Can you tell me?"

"Can you answer me this:Have you & Ace-ya had sex recently, without a condom?"

I blushed."Y-yes....."

"Well then, there's no other way to say this:You might be pregnant."

My eyes went wide, I almost dropped the snail. I could hear Law calling my name, but it felt like it was far away.

'Me....pregnant...with Aces child...'

"Answer me woman!"

I jumped & squealed."S-sorry! I-um-this is a lot to take in ya know!"Then I grinned."Am I really pregnant?!"

"I don't know for sure, but its probably a 55% chance you're pregnant. Do you have any pregnancy test devices?"

"I highly doubt we'd have any, since this is a crew full of men, and one me."

"Well I'd like you to buy some then as soon as you get to the next island. Once you get your test results, then call me immediately. Also, do NOT tell Ace-ya."

"Why can't I?"

"Because we need to be sure that you really are pregnant, Itami-ya. How far are you from a island?"

"Uhhmmm...I'd say 3 hours away."

"Okay then, call me as soon as you can. Do NOT tell Ace-ya, or anyone else, got that?"

"Yeah, yeah I got it. Bye Traff-Traff!"

Law chuckled."Catch you later, Itami-ya."

I hung up, and processed all of the info.

'Oh my god, I could possible be pregnant with our first child! Okay, calm down Itami. But I can't! This news is huge! Aaahhh!'

I hand danced, and ran out of the infirmary.

*time skip*

I quickly ran off the ship, and ran into the islands village. I ran up to a old lady villager.

"Hey where's the nearest doctor?!"I asked hurried
"Doctor? He's right next to the library, by the lake."She said
"Thank you, Obaa-san!"

I ran off, and soon found myself by the lake. I whipped my head from side to side, looking for the doctor sign. Soon, I saw the doctors sign, and jogged over to it. I knocked on the door, and patiently waited.

"Oh, hello Miss!"A young woman greeted."No need to knock! Just come on in!"
I laughed nervously."Ehehe..thanks."

I walked in, and started to look around the pharmacy. I went over to the pregnancy isle, and found the pregnancy tests. Along the way, I grabbed some other herbs & medicines, and some pregnancy pills...just in case.

"Oh! Are you expected?"The young doctor asked
"U-uhm...Its a maybe. I'm getting the symptoms though, so I'm buying it."I said
"Oh okay."

I quickly paid, and ran back to the Moby Dick.

*short timeskip*

Weirdly, the log pose was already set by the time I got back. I ordered some crew members to buy some more supplies, then I finally went off to test myself.

I went inside the bathroom in mine & Aces room, and locked the door behind me. I took the test device out of its box, and peed on the spot where the instructions told me to.

Afterwards, I breathed in & out. I looked at the test...

My eyes went wide, and I smiled a big smile.

'I'M PREGNANT WITH OUR CHILD!'
