Chapter 54:New & old friends

Itami pov
Akaoni, Mother & I skipped to the palace, happily chatting & leading the way.

"Omigod mate, wait till Casper finds out that you're back!"Akaoni cheered
I smile."I haven't seen Jasper in so long."
"I'd say he probably hasn't changed since."Mother says

"Who is Casper, yoi?"Marco asked

"Another teenage year friend of mine. Him & I go way back."I explain
Ace raised his eyebrows."Is that so?"
"Yeah. When I was out doing missions for Armalia, Casper was there with her."Akaoni added

'Casper....I wonder if he still remembers. Would he?'

We later arrived at the palace. I was happy when I saw that not a lot has changed since I was younger. Like there were probably some rooms finished being renovated, but other than that, everything looks exactly as I left it.

"Itami, what are we gonna do about the other crew members back at the beach?"Thatch asked
"Hmmmm...Well if I do my Math right....there's about 1,600 of you...I think we should have enough rooms for all."Mother says
"Really?!"
"Yes! The castle also goes a few feet underground. The rooms under ground are large enough to fit all of you in...Hopefully they are."Akaoni says

"Alright then! Its settled!"I chirped

Ace pov
'Fuck she's being cute again.'

Marco pov
'I kind of want that Akaoni's red hair.'

*later after setting up*
Itami pov
Ace & I just met up with Luffy, and his crew. I will admit, I was a bit nervous about meeting Luffy's crew. Like I was actually worried if they were gonna like me or not..which is weird because I usually don't stress about things like that.

"Wait..you're Daburu Hime no Itami?!"Ussop asked, holding up my wanted poster
"Yeah, thats me!"I said
"You don't look so...scary."Ussop shudders
I grin."Well...I can be scary when I wanna be, but I'm having a Nice day so.."
Luffy laughed."You're funny, I like you!"
I grin."I like to think I'm funny."

Then, a blond boy came rushing in, and was holding my hand. He went on his knee, and stared up at me with heart eyes. In the background, I could feel Ace glaring at the blond boy.

"Oh the heavens above have blessed me~! A beautiful woman is in my sights~! Eyes that are as green as beautiful emeralds~! A sea of wavy brow hair that I'll get lost in~! And oh a smile that will light up any island~!"He placed a rose in my hand."And you, m'lady..who may you be?"

"I-Itami."I stuttered
"Oh what a beautiful name for a strong woman~! You can call me Sanji...or you can call me tonight!"
"I-uhhhh...I have a boyfriend-wagh?!!?!"

Ace grabbed me, and trapped me in his arms. My eyes went all swirly, as I felt a tad bit dizzy. I already knew for a fact that Ace is probably giving Sanji his intense glare at the moment.

"My woman. Mine."Ace said childishly

"Don't look at bae, don't look at bae, look away, look away."Akaoni chanted quietly to herself.

I shook myself out of my dizzied state.

"Gomen, Sanji-kun, I'm taken by this adorable dork."

Ace poked his tongue out childishly. I bonked him on the head with anime eyes.

"OOOWWWW!!! ITAMI WHHHYYYY???"
"Oh nuh uh girl, don't you 'why' me! Say sorry to Sanji-kun!"
"BUT WHHHYYYY???!"
"Because! You're a grown ass man thats bloody 22 years old! NOW GO SAY SORRY BEFORE I BLOODY BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOU!"
Ace screamed femininely, and apologized over & over to Sanji

"You're almost like Nami.."Chopper stuttered, hiding behind Brook
I laughed nervously."Thats a good thing right?"
"Hell yeah sister! You & me both!"

Nami had starry eyes as she hugged me.

"Alright, but if ya wanna be my friend, then that's 10,000 beris!"
I smirked."Make it 8,000 & I'll throw in a three pairs of my high heels."
"8,500 beris & those three high heels."
"8,250 beris with the 3 high heels."
Nami was quiet for a moment."Deal."
We shook hands."Glad I made business."

Everyone was silent for a moment as they stared between Nami & I. I couldn't help but grin, and started to laugh.

"I have a feeling we're gonna be good friends."I laughed.

"So uh.....what just happened?"Akaoni asked
"I have new friends!"I cheered

"Well anyway,"Mum clapped."I'll get all of you sorted into a room!"

Mother started leading everyone apart from Akaoni & I to the guest rooms. I grin at Akaoni.

"Wait what are you working as?"I asked
"A Royal guard! I'm always by Armalia's side, but seeing that she's with all them devil fruit users, I highly doubt she'll get attacked."

Then, a voice called out.

"How could you forget about me, Itami?"

Ace & I look over, my eyes went wide, while Ace sort of stood there confused.

"CASPER?!"I yelled

I ran over to Casper & tackle hugged him. He chuckled & let me hug the shit out of him.

"Yeah you still tackle hug people. You're definitely Lucifer D Roza Itami that I've always known."

I giggled & pulled away from Casper. His magenta stared at me happily, some parts of his strawberry blond waved at me.

"Casper...You grew up!"I laughed
"Well duh! It was gonna happen! I'm human right?"
"Oh whatever! I'm just happy you're here!"I laughed

"Oi, Ghostie, where the hell have you been?"Akaoni laughed, lightly bonking his head.
He laughed nervously."Sorry Akaoni-chan. I thought I didn't have mid shift today..I literally just heard about Itami coming home."
Akaoni rolled her eyes (and blushed a little bit)."I-its okay..."

We all stood up, but Casper pulled me into another hug.

"How long has it been since we were all together?"I asked
"Far too long. Like just too long man."Akaoni replied, her hand on her hip
"Yeah. I'd say its been about 7 years...I think."Casper said

"Well thats too long!"I said in a authoritative tone."Squad Scary Red Ghost is back together!"

We put our hands in, and did the whole 'TEAM!' Thing, expect we flowed our hands out like waves, then we did a triple high five.

'Its nice seeing them again.'
