Chapter 45:Meeting the family properly

Itami pov
The tough part for Ace & I, was that we had to find a way to get back to the Moby Dick.

"We're gonna have to sneak in somehow."Ace said, scratching his head
"Yeah..but how are we gonna do it?"I sighed
Mum stood up."Maybe I could get Nagaro to help?"
"Who's Nagaro?"Ace asked
"You remember how I rode in here on a Sea king? That's Nagaro."I explained
"I would ask for more, but I'll be even more confused..."Ace sighed
"Well anyway, I think thats the only plan we can think up at the moment, so we're going to have to ask Nagaro for some help."I said
Mum nods."It'll be better when Truffles gets us to the surface."

Law had said that we will be up on the surface in 45 minutes. I of course took this time to reconnect with Mum. After all, its been 5-6 years since I've last seen her.

I hugged Mum, faintly smelling her vanilla & Strawberry fragrance.
"Mummy.."I whispered
Mum hugged me close."My little girl. You've grown so much. Was it 16 that Lucious stole you? Well whenever he did, he took you away from me for too long."

I laughed weakly."Its alright, he's gone now. He can't bother us no longer. But Mum.."I pulled away, staring at Mum."I'm sorry that I didn't visit you when I appeared on the Grand line. I was just afraid that Lucious would rip everything up just to find me. I can't afford to lose you like we lost Tsumi."

"I understood why you didn't come home, Itami. In fact, I was really happy when I saw that you had a bounty."Mum said
"But Mum, I became a criminal."I pointed out
"Yes, but I had a feeling that you would become a Pirate...but I didn't expect that you would get into Whitebeards crew!"She looked at Ace & grinned."And you found yourself a good looking boy."

"A-ah! I didn't formally introduce you two! So Mum, this is Ace...my fine piece of ass-I mean boyfriend! And Ace, this is Armalia, A.k.a:Mum."

Ace laughed nervously."H-hello, Miss A-Armalia!"He stammered.
Mum & I giggled."Ace why are you nervous?"
"Well you would be too! Nggn~! G-gomen-I-Um..."
Mum giggled & petted his head."Oh darling you're so cute! I'm so glad that you're my future son in law-"
"Mum!"I scolded, blushing
Ace blushed."Ehehe it will happen soon."
My blush went wild, and I cupped my face.
Mum poked my cheeks."Well I'm quite happy that you two are together 'n all. And don't worry,"She winks at us."Don't use a condo-"
"OMIGOD MUM!"

Mum cracked up laughing. Ace looked at me & smiled 'innocently'.

"Well I did promise that we will do the real thing-"
I groaned loudly."UUUUGGGGH!"
Ace & Mum laughed.
"I can see where she gets it from now."Ace said
Mum laughed."The pervertedness? Yes that's from me."
"YOU'RE BOTH MAKING THIS WORSE!"I whined
"Okay okay..anyway Ace, just call me Mother."
Ace smiled."Thank you Mother."

I grinned, happily twirling around like a happy 5 year old.

"Wait! Where's Luffy?"I asked
"I got this...MEAT!"

Then, I heard foot steps running towards us. I was tumbled over by Luffy, who was grinning at me the same way Ace usually does.

"HELLO!"He greets
"HELLO!"I greeted back

Luffy laughed."I LIKE YOU!"
"I LIKE YOU TOO LETS BE FRIENDS!"
"OKAY!"

Mum facepalmed, while Ace simply laughed & shook his head. Luffy hopped off me, still grinning at me.

"Ace wouldn't stop talking about you in Arabasta!"Luffy said
Ace whacked Luffy."LUFFY!"
"WHY DID YOU WHACK ME?! I WAS TELLING HER THE TRUTH!"
"YOU DON'T GO AROUND TELLING STUFF LIKE THAT!"
I blushed, but laughed anyway."Oh reeally~? What did he talk about?"
Ace looked at me then Luffy."Don't you dare-"

"Oh he would talk about how pretty you are, and how you always steal his shirts...almost everything!"Luffu said

Ace was crying animatedly in the background, while Mum was just petting Aces head, as if to say "There, there..". Luffy kept on smiling at me innocently, fully unaware that he totally embarrassed Ace.

I grinned. I grabbed his head, and pulled him into a hug. I squealed & jumped up & down.

(A/N:Okay so remember that scene where Nami sees Ussop after the 2 year timeskip? Well imagine that happening, but with Luffy & Itami.)

"You're so cute~! I wanna keep you~! Ace can we keep him? He's so cute~!"I squealed, still jumping

I kissed his head & let go of him. He had swirly eyes, and looked totally confused. I giggled & looked to Ace, who was sitting in the corner, growing mushrooms with a sad, but comical effect.

"Well, Mum this is Luffy, Aces brother. And Luffy this is Armalia, my Mother."I said

Luffy was still swirly eyed, and had walked into a wall. Mum smiled, and petted his head.

"They're precious."Mum said
"Yes, they definitely are!"

Law suddenly appeared in front of us. I took a step back in surprise.

"Law-kun!"
"We're about to resurface, Itami-ya. Are you all ready?"Law asked
"Yeah, I think we're ready."I said
Law nods, and put his hand on my head."Itami-ya, I don't know if I'll see you again, so is this goodbye?"
"Law we're definitely gonna see each other again! I promise!"I said

Law put on a small smile."Well...Lets go then."

(A/N:Yay another chapter done! So I will tell you this now, I'm far too lazy to carry on with the Marineford arc, so probably next chapter is the last Marineford chapter.)
