Chapter 9:Itami vs Marines!

*later that day*
Ace pov
I lead Itami back to the Moby Dick, shopping bags in hand.

"Did you really need all of this stuff?"I asked
She giggled."Why it was necessary!"
"Last time I checked, you already had heaps of clothes."I said
She gave me a look."Ace, do not question a woman & her shopping, its like one of the many number one rules!"
"You made that up didn't you?"I asked
"No......maybe....okay yeah I did."She admitted
I laughed."Okay okay, I got it memorized."

We walked up onto the Moby Dick, and dropped her stuff off in her room. We then met up with all the other commanders on deck.

"Aye there they are!"Haruta said
"Where did you two disappear off to, yoi?"Marco asked with a suggestive smirk
"Coffee!"Itami cheered
"Treated our lady here for some coffee & breakfast."I said
"Oh really?"Marco asked
"Yeah, really."I answered
"No other nitty gritty?"Vista asked
Itami gave him a look."If by nitty gritty, then I dragged Ace for more shopping."

Marco rolled his eyes."Women & their shopping, yoi."
"Yeah...well you were the one who almost sexually assaulted Thatch this morning."I sassed
"ITS MATING SEASON, YOI! Its natural!"Marco argued
Itami giggled."Wait what?"
"No don't you dare fucking tell her-"
"Ohhh...This morning Marco had basically attacked Thatch in his half Pheonix form screaming 'Yooooiiiiii~!' "I said

We all laughed at Marco & Thatch, who were blushing a deep shade of red.

"So thats why Marco says 'Yoi' a lot! Its his mating call!"Itami giggled
"Come on guys, its only a speech pattern, yoi!"Marco groaned
I laughed."Okay okay...guys lets stop teasing Marco...yoi."
"ACE YOU FLAMING BASTARD, YOI!"Marco yelled at me

Itami pov
We all watched in laughter as Marci chased Ace around the ship.

"Okay guys, now we should apologize to Thatch now."I said
"Awww Itami~! You're soft!"Thatch teased
"Do you want me to take that back?"I asked
"N-no.."
"Okay! Sorry Thatch!"

"OOOOIII! There's Marine ships coming our way! Get ready for battle!"

The commanders soon started get their divisions ready, I quickly ran back inside & put my usual attire back on. I then ran back outside, and started to give out orders.

"DIVISIONS ONE THROUGH EIGHT! ALL OF YOU WILL BE FIGHTING ON THE ENEMIES SHIP! DIVISIONS 9 THROUGH TO SIXTEEN! YOU ALL WILL BE TAKING CARE OF OUR HOME & PROTECTING POPS! DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?!"I yell

"YES M'AAM!"

"THEN GIVE THEM HELL! I'LL BE ASSISTING DIVISIONS ONE TO EIGHT!"

I stood up on the railing, and looked at the Marine ships in front of us, there were about 5 ships coming towards us.

"DIVISIONS 1 THROUGH TO EIGHT! THERE WILL BE 2 DIVISIONS PER SHIP! YOU EIGHT WILL BE TAKING 4 OF THOSE SHIPS DOWN! I'LL BE HANDLING THE LAST ONE! MAKE SURE TO HELP EVERYONE OUT! DO NOT LEAVE ANYONE BEHIND!"

"Itami! Ships encoming, yoi!"

I smirked."Good to know."

I summoned my scythe.

'Today is gonna be a good day!'

*later *

5 of the 8 divisions had finished defeating their ships. Only me, division 1 & 2 were the only ones fighting. On the ship that Ace & Marco were fighting on, you could see blue & red flames from where I was.

The Marines in front of me, were huffing & puffing.

"D-damn! Is she a demon?!"One Marine huffed
"Come on men! We can do this! Its only one woman, and then we can go after the whole crew!"The captain encouraged

Using a bit of Siren charms, I flicked my hair to the side, a seductive aura coming from me. The Marines were easily allured, and started to fall helplessly for me.

"Really~? You would hurt a innocent like me~?"I did a fake gasp."You might make me cry~.."I hummed, bringing on some fake tears

"N-no m'lady! I-I mean-I was just-"

But before the Marine could explain any further, I was already behind all of them. They all freeze, not feeling the deep, life threatening wound I inflicted on them.

I smirked, and they all fall down, dead.

"Don't underestimate a woman."I said in a reminding tone

They were all pointing their guns at me.

"G-get back! She's after us now! Whatever you do, do not fall for her feminine charms!"The captain called

I tutted."How idiotic."

I ran at all of them, and started to use everything that I had. The only thing you could hear on my side, was blood curling screams, shots being fired & bone snapping sounds.

Soon it was just me, and the captain.

"Oh dear...its only you & me now..how about we make these last moments together...a bit more exciting?"I asked

But suddenly, I found trapped. All of these weird sea stone poles were stabbed to the ground, and they were all crammed so close to my body, that I couldn't move. Hell, there were even some stabbed through my body.

I saw my blood seeping out of my body.

"W-what?"I said

The captain chuckled tauntingly."Sorry Princess, but it seems I have got you trapped in my sea stone poles. Its nothing personal. But maybe...you might be able to change my mind in turning you in."He hummed, circling around me.

"Maybe...if you offer your body to me, then maybe I won't turn you in to the higher ups."He carried on

"In hell that I'll let that happen."

I look up, and saw Ace standing there, some flames on his body. He looked pissed.

"Ace..."I whispered
The Marine captain smirked."Oh really? Who's stopping me?"
"Me, Portgas D Ace."Ace answered

Ace pov
That Marine captain & I engaged in battle. He kept on lashing out with some special sea stone poles, the same poles that are trapping Itami.

'Damn, I need to get rid of those! Otherwise I won't be able to take this guy down!'

"Whats wrong Fire fist? Are you finally realizing that you're no match?"The captain taunted
"Heh, I'm only just getting started, scum. I won't let you take her away. She belongs to us, not you."I said

He started running at me, another pole in his hand, but he was moving so fast that I couldn't react.

He jumped, and had the pole in his hand.

"DIE GOL D ACE!"

My eyes widen

'How does he know-'

I waited for the impact, but nothing came. I felt something liquid drop on my cheek. I look up...

To see Itami standing in front of me, with poles sticking from her arms & legs, while there was one right through her chest.

I was shaking, not believing on what I was seeing.

She was breathing heavily, a shadow over her eyes.

"Heh....Dirty scum like you shouldn't be messing around with such toys...."She then glared at the captain.

"You touch the one that I care about.......then you die.."

Before I got to see what was happening to the man, all I heard was a slicing noise, a loud splat, and a rolling sound.

Itami willed her scythe away, then stared at me. With what looked like great pain & indurance, she slowly turned her body towards me, her blood leaking out.

"I won't.....let anyone.....hurt...you."

"ITAMI!"
