Chapter 37:Surprise at Marineford

"GIVE ACE BACK!"

Monkey D Luffy was throwing everything he had at all of the Marines in front of him. Ace watched from the execution platform as the war unfolded.

'What are they all doing here? Why are they even bothering to save..someone like me?'Ace thought hopelessly

Before, Sengoku had revealed that Ace was the som of Gol D Roger. Ace tried to deny it, but no matter how hard he tried, Sengoku kept on saying that Ace indeed is the son of the last Pirate King.

Before the executioners could decapitate Ace, Luffy had unleashed his Kings conquerer Haki, a Haki that Ace himself has. Ace was definitely surprised when Luffy showed how strong he is.

'But....Where is Itami? Where is she?'

Ace was also searching the crowd for his beloved. So far, he hasn't see her yet. He knows when Itami is here in a place like this when the screaming is louder than usual.

'If she's not here...then I guess I'm sort of glad. She has to be safe. If she were to doe out here..then I don't know what I'll do with myself.'

"ADMIRAL! WE HAVE SPOTTED A STRANGE DISTURBANCE OUT ON THE COAST!"
"What? What is it?"Sengoku asked
"ITS A SEA KING! ITS COMING THIS WAY & IT LOOKS HUNGRY!"

The cadet sped off, and told the others to fire some canons at the Sea King that Ace heard about.

"FIRE!"

The Marines fired their canons, a loud whizzing noise going out to the sky. The Marine cadet watched with binoculars, and had wide eyes.

"S-SIR! THE CANON BALLS WERE SLICED IN HALF!"
"What do you mean they're sliced in half?!"
"THE SEA KING DIDN'T DO IT! IT WAS ALMOST LIKE SOMEONE HAD PROTECTED IT!"
"Well find out who that crazy person is, and kill them!"

'Sea king? What..'

Minutes later, the same cadet came back looking all panicked.

"WE'RE DEAD!"He screamed
"CALM DOWN CADET! Who is the person!?"
"SIR! ITS..ITS-"

Suddenly, a huge shadow towered over Marineford. Those that had spare time, stared up at the Sea king in bewilderment. It was purple & jet black, with sharp teeth & golden eyes. Ace had wide eyes, not believing what he was seeing.

There on the Sea king, was Itami.

His Itami.

"ITS DABURU HIME NO ITAMI!"

Nagaro & I arrived at Marineford, scaring the shit out of many Marines. I heard Nagaro laugh in my mind.

"KILL THE SEA KING & THE DOUBLE PRINCESS!"

I smirked."They don't wanna do that."I sighed to myself.

As soon as the canon ball came close, Nagaro snapped at the canon ball, and ate it.

"What a splendid delicacy."

I giggled."Thank you so much, Nagaro."

"Its nothing! I do hope I see you again though."

I smirked, chuckling at their reactions.

He put me down & swam off.

I smirked, resting my scythe on my shoulder, popping my leg.
