Chapter 79:Baby

*9 months later*
Itami pov
I stared down at my stomach, and smiled softly. The baby bump now was big! I was starting to become excited about having our baby. Although there was some niggles that popped up here & there, I got past them eventually.

Ace & I have already decided on baby names as well. If our baby is a boy, then we will name him Creed. But if its a girl, we will name her Alice.

"Woah! Hold up woman!"Thatch called, running over to me.
I groaned."God damn it."

Thatch snatched my paper work away from me. I 'Hey!'ed & glared at him.

"What the hell?!"
"Woman, you're not doing any work! You'll strain yourself out! Aces orders!"
"I sometimes feel like I can't do anything."I huffed
Thatch sighed."I know how you feel, but we need to make sure that you won't strain or stress you out. Something might happen."
"Yeah but I can still do some things! Its like you guys are stopping me from doing anything!"I whined
Thatch petted my head."We're just making sure that you won't hurt yourself."

Thatch left me alone, and left the room. I sighed, and went outside for some fresh air. I grabbed the usual captains spot on deck, and sat there, and carried on reading 'Alice in wonderland'.

"Itami-chaaaan~!"

Luffy ran up to me, with a goofy smile on his face.

"I'm booooorrreeed~!"
"Where's Ace?"I asked
He pouted."He told me to bug off."
"Where's Sabo?"
"He said the same thing."

'They're so mean to their little brother.'

I giggled."Do you want me to read to you, then?"
He grinned."Okay!"

Luffy sat down next to me, and motioned for me to start reading.

'I'm so glad that Luffys crew, Sabo, Mother, Akaoni, Casper & Law are here. They all made it just in time for me to give birth to mine & Aces child.'

*later*

"One more chapter, pleeeeaaaasse??"Luffy begged
"No no, I gotta go now! I need to get ready!"I said, shutting the book
Luffy whined."Can't you poop the baby later?"
I sweatdropped."Its not how it works Luffy..anyway, I need to go now. Tell Ace what I am doing. And if you want,"I gave him the book."Read on without me."
"But I want you to read to me!"

'Damn he's stubborn. He's not gonna let up.'

"I promise I'll read to you later."I said, quickly running off.

In the infirmary, I saw Law & Chopper talking about doctor stuff. I knocked on the wall, and they both turned to me.

"Oh Itami! I was just about to get you!"Chopper said
"Are you ready?"Law asked
I nod."Yes."

*6 hours later*

Everyone was rushing around as Law & Chopper were getting ready to help me birth our child. I was crying, and felt extremely scared. The pain that I was going through felt like I had been stabbed multiple times in my V.

"It hurts!"I cried out as Ace held my hand.
"I know it does, Itami. But remember, do it for us, do it for our child! Do it for me.."Ace said to me, kissing my hand
Mother came into the room, all emotional.
"Oh my little girl!"
I groaned."Damn it! How did you even do this?!"I yell at Mother
"Itami-ya,"Law started."Ready when you're ready. You can start pushing any time soon."

Ace looked at me."On a count of three?"
I groaned."Y-yeah!"

"1......2.......3! Puuuush!"

I screamed as I pushed. My hand tightened around Aces hand. Whenever I moved, I was in pain.

"Is it over?!"
"Barely, Itami-ya. But you're a few pushes closer!"Law said
"1....2...3 push!"

I screamed again as I pushed.

'Damn why does child birth have to be so damn painful?! Its like being stabbed in your vagina & your stomach!'

I was all sweaty & I was crying. I so badly just wanted the pain to be over.

"Itami-ya you need to push."Law instructed

Without warning, I pushed really hard, and could almost feel my insides tearing up. Ace looked like he was in pain, probably because I was practically breaking his hand as I pushed.

"You're getting close, Itami-chan!"Chopper encouraged."I can see its head!"
"I want you to push a little bit hard. You're doing a very good job, Itami-ya."

I looked at everyone that was in the room:Akaoni, Casper, Marco, Luffu, Sabo & Luffys crew. They were all encouraging me to push as well. Including Akaoni, who was giving me 'motivation'.

I looked to Ace."I-I...I'm sorry if I break your hand..after this.."I panted
Ace chuckled."That will be nothing. Now lets do this, Itami!"

"3....."

I closed my eyes.

"2....."

I kept my breathing under control, and got my strength ready.

"1....!"

I pushed as hard as I could, and practically let out a battle cry as I pushed. I've never screamed so much in my life..

But what made me smile, and cry tears of relief, was when I heard a loud baby cry. I fell back into my bed, and watched as Law carefully removed the umbilical cord, and wrapped my baby up in a towel. Law looked at me, and smiled at me.

"Congratulations, Itami-ya. It's a boy."

I put on a weak smile, and looked over at Ace, who was smiling like a idiot & was crying tears of joy.

"I want to see him...my baby...please.."I begged weakly
Mother carried my son over to me."Here he is.."

Mother handed me my baby wrapped in his blue towel. I carefully held him in my arms, and gently rocked my son in my arms. Ace stared into the towel, and cried even more.

"He's absolutely beautiful.."I cried
Ace chuckled."I love him."

Law coughed."S-sorry but...have you decided a name?"
I look at Ace."Yes we have."
He nods."Yeah."

I look to Law."His name is Creed."I then looked at Creed, and smiled."Portgas D Lucifer Roza Creed."
