Chapter 30:Training!

(A/N:30 Chapters....shit.)

Itami pov
When I woke up this morning, I found that I was wearing one of Aces old shirts (with no bra on). Next to me, Ace was fast asleep on his stomach, quietly snoring. I smiled, raking my hand through his hair.

'He's still the same cutie.'

I must say though, last night was probably one of the best nights in my life. I sort of understood why we didn't do the actual..thing together. I mean like, we're still in our early 20s here, I'm not really ready to be a parent yet anyways.

'Speaking of my age...it's my birthday soon. Shit I'm turning 21...Wait...I'm older than Ace?!? Wow...I only just realized it now. Oh well, age doesn't matter, I still love him.'

I kissed his head, and quickly scribbled a note down, and put it on his face. I stood up, and gathered up my clothes, and went back to my room.

*short time skip*

Ace pov
I yawned, slowly opening my eyes. I expected to see Itami in front of me, but instead I found a note, and a empty bed. I sat up, reaching out & grabbed the note.

"Ace,
This'll sound weird but, thanks for last night. It was probably one of the best nights in my life. I do hope you had a good sleep. It looked like you did anyway (I gotta say this:You have the most cutest sleeping faces). Sorry that I wasn't next to you when you woke up, I just went back to my room to dress myself for training.

But anyway...Ace, Thank you. I love you my darling.

Itami.

I smiled to myself, folding the note & putting it on my bedside table. I laid down on my back, and stared at the ceiling.

'Damn she's cute. Speaking of training, I should probably go out & do some with her & Marco.'

I got myself dressed in my usual attire, and went off to crows nest. I walked past the library, and walked into the training area.

In there, I saw Itami & Marco sparring. It looked like Marco wasn't holding back on her, and was going all out on her. Meanwhile, Itami looked like she hasn't broken into a sweat yet. I smirked at them, and went over to the chalk board to look at the many times Itami's beaten Marco in a fight (and vice versa).

'10 times Marco has beaten Itami, and 13 times Itami has beaten Marco...meanwhile Itami & I are neck & neck with each other.'

I look over & saw that Marco was on the ground, while Itami was towering over him. She pointed her scythe at him, and giggled.

"Beaten again, yoi."Marco sighed
"Sorry! You're easy to kick around."Itami said, offering her hand.
Marco took her hand."Jeez you still can kick ass, yoi."
"Well I am badass."

"And you also have a nice ass!"I called out

Itami & Marco looked over to me. Marco was smirking, and she was grinning at me.

"Actually now that you mention it, Itami does have a nice ass, yoi."

I used my devil fruit power to get behind him. I whacked Marco over the head, and grabbed Itami.

"My woman."
Itami blushed."Oh god."
"I'm only telling the truth, yoi."Marco sighed
I kissed her head."My Itami."
Marco waved his hand as he walked out."Whatever you say, yoi."

As soon as Marco left, I spun Itami around & kissed her. I felt her smile within our kiss.

I pulled away, and leaned my forehead on hers. She was smiling. And it was that type of smile that would make your heart feel warm inside. It was beautiful, like her.

"Someone's in a good mood."She giggled
"Can't help it. As I told you before, you make me feel good."I murmur
"If by good, I'm pretty sure you mean happy."She laughed."Come on..I wanna fight."
I sighed."Don't expect me to go easy on you, sweetie."

She 'hn'ed, and jumped away from me. We stared each other down, and soon we started to play fight.

Itami pov
He ran at me with his flames on. I dodged his Flame fist, and ran at him, my scythe in my hand. I jumped & did my first attack.

(A/N:I'm not good at naming attacks btw)

"RIBBON SLASH!"

With my scythe, I did all these slicing attacks at Ace (single-handedly). He dodged all of them, mainly because he has Logia instead of Paramecia. I grit my teeth in frustration, and did a flying kick at his shoulder. Ace grabbed my leg, and threw me to the wall. I flew back, but did a quick recovery.

'He's gotten better!'

"Don't lose focus, Itami."

I gasped as soon as I saw that Ace behind me. I quickly elbowed him hard, and flip kicked him, quickly gaining little bit of distance. I noticed I was next to the light switch.

I smirked."Ace you forgot one thing...I'm a assassin."

I turned the lights out, and hid myself in the darkness. I heard Ace sigh, and chuckle a bit.

"Yeah..I did forget that."He called

I quietly climbed up the rock wall, and snuck around on the rafters above.

"Come on Itami! Come out!"

I saw a knife & grabbed that. I held it back hand style, and got myself ready for the jump. I inhaled some air, and slowly exhaled.

'Assassins rule number 1:Blend into the shadows. Control your breathing. And wait for your target to let his guard down. Rule number 2:Tune in to your targets. Predict his thoughts & actions! And finally, Rule number 3:Strike your target before he notices you.'

And finally, I jumped down towards Ace, pulling on a rope that I attached to the light switch before while I was fighting. The light turned on, and I was already on top of Ace, my knife to his neck.

He stared up at me with a baffled expression."Fuck.."
I smirked, leaning close to his ear."Oh Ace, darling...we had a lot of fun, huh?"

I gave him a teasing kiss, and got off him. He sat up & stared at me. I winked at him, and walked away, my hips swaying with every elegant step.

"I had fun."I called out
