Chapter 40:Save Itami!

Third pov
Meanwhile, the two boys were still running to the Moby Dick. Even though Ace was absolutely happy about seeing Itami again, he was a tad bit annoyed that she made him run away from the cloaked figure.

'Why did she even do that? She knows that Luffy & I could easily take that unknown guy out.'

I started to get a dreading feel that I really needed to go back, and help Itami.

"STOP!"

A lady came out, and stepped in front of Luffy & I, stopping us from running. For a moment, I almost mistook her for Itami, and was about to ask how the hell did she get here so fast. But then, I had this feeling that she was...older than Itami.

Anyway, the lady had dark brown hair, and jade green eyes. She had on a black t-shirt, and had a golden sash around her waist. She also had on a pair of blue jeans that sopped under her knee, and brown high heeled sandals. A belt was on her hips, holding onto a curled up whip.

"Get out of the way!"Luffy yelled
"You can't leave! You two need to go back, and save Itami!"She yelled

"Wait.....how do you know Itami?"I asked

"I'll explain later. Right now, you don't know the danger that she's in as of this moment! Please...we need to go back. If we don't, then she will get killed! I beg of you both!"

I bit my lip, my fists doing a final squeeze, before relaxing. Luffy was staring at her intensely, probably thinking of what's next. I ran a slightly shaky hand through my hair, and sighed.

"First off, who is that man in the black cloak? What does he want with Itami?"I asked
"That....that is her Father."

My eyes went wide, remembering what Itami's Father did to her.

'But how is he here?! Itami said so herself that he can't find her here.'

"But how is Lucious here?!"I asked our loud
"Look, we will find out later. Whats more important at the moment, is that we go back, and grab Itami. If we don't act soon...she will die, and her counterpart will be unleashed...then we will all die."

Third pov
Ace, Luffy & the mystery woman were running back to where Itami was. Ace was secretly panicking about Itami & Lucious. He knew that what would happen if Itami loses the battle between her & Lucious.

'Please Itami...be safe.'

But that thought was irradicated as soon as she heard her scream. The trio ran faster, desperately trying to get to where Itami was. They turn a corner.

"ITAMI!"

She was tied tight to a pole (the sane sort of pole that Zoro was tied to). There was blood on most parts of her body. Her hair was messy, and some pieces of hair had come out of her pony tail, and was hanging down her back.

But, Ace knew that that type of a scream anywhere.

She was in pain.

"LUCIOUS!"The mystery lady yelled angrily.

Lucious turned his head towards the trio, his smirk still present.

"How lovely, company has come to see Dolor's power...."Lucious stared at the mystery lady."And my darling, beautiful wife has even come to cheer Dolor & I on!"

'W-what?! WIFE?! Wait...then that means that she's Itami's Mother...thats Roza D Armalia!'

Armalia clicked her tongue."As if. I've come to put a stop to what you're doing to our daughter! First you had killed Tsumi..your own son! How could you do such a thing...I loved you..!"

"Yes I know that, but I still love you, Armalia."
"How could I love you...WHEN YOU KILLED YOUR OWN CHILD?! How could I even love you when you're only torturoing your own daughter! Don't you have any sympathy?!"

Lucious's smirk only grew.

"See thats the problem with me. I have no sympathy."

Then, Lucious did a powerful hand thrust towards Itami. Her head flew back, her eyes wide. She let out a pained screamed, tears escaping out of her eyes.

"YOU BASTARD!"Luffy & Ace yelled.

The trio were about to charge at Lucious, but he flicked his other hand at them, and they suddenly froze, as if time stopped.

"Ahh demonic time stop. Always useful for times like these. Any way, you're all interrupting my work. I have a world to destroy, and humans to kill."

"AAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHH!!! STOP IT! IT HURTS!"Itami yelled, her crying increasing.

Ace wanted to rush in, and kill Lucious.

'How dare he make her cry!'

Between pained cries, Itami yelled out:

"ACE! I LOVE YOU-"

Then it was like her vocal cords were shut off. Her eyes were so wide, it looked like she was permanently surprised about something. Her body grew weak, and her head hung low.

Ace started to growl, and tried his best to wriggle out of the demonic time stop spell, but to no avail.

"No...."Armalia whimpered

Lucious released Itami from her hold, and she flopped to the ground like a voodoo doll. Lucious stared at her intensely, his smirk now a awaiting frown.

"Patience is a virtue I hate.."Lucious mumbled to himself

"Bastard....WHAT DID YOU DO WITH MY ITAMI?!"Ace yelled out

Lucious spun around, and faced Ace. He raised his eyebrows, and returned the smirk back to his mouth.

" 'Your' Itami? You say it like you love her.."Then, Lucious put his hand on his chin."Omigod you do love her!"Lucious let out a short, cocky laugh."You must be her dear boyfriend that she wouldn't stop blabbering about before...Ace was it? I looked into your past & found very interesting memories."He sneered."Being son of a king must be very dreadful. I know this myself actually, Itami does as well. But anyway, you two are cute together. Good thing she will kill you."Lucious dramatically sighed."Being killed by the hands of your lover is quite romantic if you ask me.."

Suddenly, a seductive voice chuckled.

"I do quite agree with you, Lucious. Being killed by the hands of your lover is very romantic."

They all looked over, and saw that Itami was standing now, but had her head hanging low. Ace was gonna call out to he, but sensed that something was wrong with his love.

"I-Itami?"Ace called

Itami giggled, then laughed manically. Her head shot up, and started cackling out to the world. She tipped her head, and sighed.

"Oh darling...you got the wrong gal.."

She faced her head to the crowd. The 3 savers eyes widened as soon as they saw Itami's eyes.

"I'm not Itami.....Yes...I am Kira"

Instead of having beautiful, emerald eyes, Kira-Itami now had murderous, poisonous ruby red eyes. To Ace, Kira-Itami looked evil & wicked.

'That's definitely not Itami...'
