Chapter 36:I'm part of this

(A/N:Half a day of school was alright..i talked to one of my friends that I haven't talked to since i moved away then came back...im sort pf excited for tomorrow)

Itami pov
Word got out fast about Ace getting captured by Teach. Pops called a divisions meeting that I had to attend. We all sat around in like business circle, and talked about the plan on getting Ace back.

"We're gonna have to get rid of the executioners first, yoi."Marco said
"But how are we gonna do that?"Izo asked
"Well....we will get to that part later. Whats more important, is that we need to get Ace back. We need to be in & out of there."Thatch said

"I will get Ace. I can easily get over to him & free him."I said
"But how are you gonna get there, yoi? By the time you get there, they would've killed him, yoi."Marco said
"I can do it. I know I can."I said in a pushy tone

"Itami you're not participating in the war."Old man said

I look at him as if he was crazy.

"But Pops! I've gotta be there to save Ace! I can help! Please please....I need to be there."I begged
"Itami, there would be a high chance that the Marines will go for you first. The Marines know of yours & Aces relationship, they would do anything to have you dead in front of him, and then they will kill him."Old man said
"But-"
"Itami, yoi. We need you to be safe. If you die out there, then we'd all fail as your family, yoi."Marco said

I tearfully bit my lip. They all had a point, but I need to be there...I need to be the one that gets Ace back.

'They won't let me go. I know they won't.'

I sighed."Okay, I agree."

After the meeting, Old man organized me to be sent off to a island near by. The division commanders were sent off to get their divisions ready for the fight to get Ace back.

"Itami."

I turn & saw Marco standing there. He walked up to me, and put his hand on my shoulder.

"I'm happy that you're gonna be safe, yoi."Marco said
"I know....I just feel like I need to he there to save Ace."I sighed
"We all feel like that, yoi. But you're precious to us, and if you were to be out there, and you died..."Marco didn't finish his sentence

'Of course. How could I be so selfish? Everyone feels the same as me. Of course people want to be there to save Ace.'

I put on a weak smile."Its nothing, Marco."
He petted my head."Thank you, yoi."

He walked off to get everything else done. I sighed, and went to my room to pack.

'There is no way that I'm missing this war.'

I started sailing off, I watched as the Moby Dick sailed off to Marineford.

I sighed, getting ready to row my boat to the island.

'Man this sucks.'

I started rowing, and started having second thoughts. I mean this is the Grand line! There could be those freaky huge fish!

'Wait! Sirens have the ability to communicate with Sea kings! All I have to do is to sing a song to get their attention.'

I cleared my voice.
