Chapter 39 ~ Niall's POV

"Okay, well, let her know I called, and tell her I love her and I miss her," I said into the phone. This was the 3rd time today that I called Emily. Kennedy hadn't been returning my calls or texts, and she hadn't been returning anyone elses. I really wanted to know how Aimee was, and how she was doing. I missed her like crazy.

"Niall, come on, you haven't left your room in 2 days," Gregg called.

I got up, grabbed my towel and went into the shower. I decided I would go on a walk or something. After I rinsed my body off, I changed into some clothes, grabbed my phone, and headed down to Nandos. School started again on Monday and I was dreading going, especially without Kennedy. As I entered the little restaraunt, I noticed someone who almost made me want to leave. I would've, if I weren't so hungry.

I sat myself down at a table, hoping not to be noticed. Sadly, she came over to my table and sat across from me, "What do you want, Tommie?"

"Put the claws away kitty cat! I'm just trying to be friendly," she said jokingly, "I was just going to invite you and Kennedy to a party tonight."

"I don't think Kennedy would want to go to a party with you," I said seriously. I didn't want to talk to her right now, I didn't trust her.

"Well then why don't you go?" she asked, batting her eyes, "You don't have to do everything Kennedy does."

"I'll have to see if I'm busy tonight," I said, hoping that would make her go away. It didn't.

"Oh c'mon Niall, you and I both know you don't have plans tonight. I was just playing along when I invited Kennedy, I know she's in America right now," she said as if it were common knowledge, "And I also know she hasn't been answering your calls, so why don't you come out tonight, get you mind off of it."

"How did you know she wasn't answering my calls?" I asked her, my voice almost at a whisper.

"You're expression gave it all away when I said her name," she smirked, "So I'll pick you up at 8:00 yeah?"

"I don't trust you," I told her honestly. Wow, me 6 months ago would not have said that.

"You don't have to," she said, slightly hurt, "It's just a party at Hunter's house, his parents are away."

"I don't think so Tommie," I said sternly, looking around for my usual waitress, Allison.

"Remember how much fun we used to have?" she said seductively, reaching over the table to hold my hand. I pulled it away. "We were the best dancers in all of Mullingar."

"We were 15," I said.

"Still," she said, her voice quiet, "Reconsider for me, yeah?" Tommie winked and then pranced out of the door.

I put my head in my hands, "What have I got myself into."

If she was going to make me go to this party, the least I could do was look presentable. I threw on a plain blue t shirt and jeans, nothing too crazy. I hadn't really hung out with my friends like this since I've met Kennedy. When I told Gregg I was going to a party tonight, he almost seemed proud of me. Tommie was right when she said I had to get my mind off of things. I just won't drink, I'll have a good time hanging out with my mates and that's that.

I heard the doorbell ring and I made my way to the door to see Tommie standing there patiently. She wore a pair of high waisted jean shorts and a Rolling Stones top that showed her cleavage.

"Ready to go?" she asked, checking me out.

"Uh, yeah, let me grab my phone," I said, before running back to my room and getting everything I needed.
