Chapter 6
I woke up the next morning with my phone right next to my head in the large, beige, queen sized bed. I checked the clock, 12:45pm. Crap, I was supposed to spend the day with Niall and I slept in. Niall. I checked my phone, we had been texting all night.
From: Niall
Haha, that was my brother! He's a gom. Xx
I had fallen asleep texting him. We were talking about our plans for today, I told him about Tommie. As I looked through our conversation, I looked at what he had sent before, which made me blush.
From: Niall
Kennedy, I am completely in love with you, will you marry me?
I started giggling at the text message. Did he tell Gregg about me? What did he say? I wanted to spend all of my time with him. Was I being too clingy?
"Look who's finally awake," Cassia said, entering my room. I sat up as she sat on the edge of the bed.
"Yeah, I slept like a baby. This bed is so comfortable!"
"I'm glad you're happy with your room, Mam was freaking out about it," Cassia laughed.
"So whats up? Do we have something planned for today?," I asked. As much as I wanted to spend time with Niall, I should've been spending it with my family.
"Actually," Cassia said, I devilish grin running across her expression, "you'e going out tonight for a very special occasion!"
I was shocked by her words, my mind thought the worst things. "Did I forget someone's birthday? Is there an anniversary?"
"No! It's for you! Niall came by earli--," I cut her off.
"Niall came over?! Why didn't you wake me up?! I have to get ready! I've been keeping him waiting!," I said. I shot up out of my bed and ran to the closet, getting dizzy from standing up too quick.
"Kennedy, relax," Cassia came over to where I was standing. "He came over this morning asking for you, when Mam told him you were sleeping, he didn't want to wake you."
"Aw! He's so considerate," I gushed. That was the most adorable thing.
"Right after Mam closed the door, he texted me telling him his plan for tonight," Cassia said, almost fangirling like I was, "and it's so cute!
"What is it?"
"He said it's a surprise, but he wants you to dress a little bit more formal...," she explained while looking through my closet.
"Cassia, I think I can dress my--," I was cut off at the sight of what she pulled out. My mouth fell at the sight of it, I forgot I packed it.
"Try it on!"
I pulled on the dress and looked in front of the tall mirror on the bathroom door. It's a red dress, that fell mid-thigh. The sleeves went about four inches above my elbows with a sweetheart neck line. It has red floral lace with and a-line skirt. It fit me well, I didn't want to take it off.
"Oh my gosh, you look stunning!," Cassia yelled. She seemed a lot more excited than I expected
"Can you guys keep it down? It's like 5 in the morn--," Aimee trudged in in her blue matching pajamas and stopped her sentence short. She looked at me and her jaw dropped. Cassia and I giggled at her reaction.
"Do you like it?," I finally asked.
"I love it! Why are you so fancy anyway?," Aimee asked, curious.
"Didn't you know? Someone has a date tonight!," Cassia exclaimed. I didn't even know what Niall and I were doing yet. Hell, I didn't even know what shoes I was wearing. I motioned for Cassia to quiet down, in fear of someone hearing her. They were just a few dates, I didn't want my newly reconnected family to think I already had a boyfriend.
