3rd Person POV
"What are... Apps? And what secrets do you behold on this... Phone?" Peridot asked slyly.
"Peridot, please just give (F/n) back her phone!" Steven pleaded. Peridot hissed. Like... Literally hissed like a cat.
"No!" she shouted.
On the inside of the bathroom, Peridot stared curiously at the strange (f/c) device. "What's this?" she murmured and tapped a button.
Music suddenly blared throughout the house and Peridot screamed. Your eye twitched.
"I DON'T CAAARE... TO WHAT THEY'RE GOING TO SAAAY! LET THE STORM RAGE ON!"
"THE COLD NEVER BOTHERED ME ANYWAY..."
Your POV
"AHHH! GET IT AWAY FROM ME!" she hollered.
"OPEN THE DOOR THEN!" I yelled. Peridot unlocked the door before curling up into a ball in the bathtub. I tapped the 'stop' button and turned off my phone, securing it in my pocket.
"Peridot... Say your sorry to (F/n)." Steven told Peridot firmly.
"Why?" she huffed. "Because it was rude of you to take her phone away." Steven replied.
Peridot rolled her eyes and muttered, "...I'm... Ehhhmm... Sorry." I shrugged.
"You're too cute to stay mad at anyway." I giggled.
"I AM NOT CUTE!" Peridot shrieked, enraged and slammed the door shut. Connie chuckled.
"Sooo, Steven. When are the gems coming back?" she asked. "Oh. They should be back soon-"
Vwooom! "It's the gems!" Steven exclaimed excitedly. A tall, slender woman with pale skin smiled at us.
"Hello, Connie." she greeted my cousin. Then she bent down to my height. "Oh, who's this?" she asked.
"Guys, this if (F/n). Connie's cousin!" Steven told them.
"Hi." I waved.
"(F/n), this is Pearl," he gestured to the slender woman. "Amethyst," Steven pointed to a sort of chubby purple girl. She grinned at me. "and Garnet." Steven said, looking up at a tall lady with a square afro and cool glasses.
"Hello." she simply said, in a monotone voice.
I tilted my head to the side in con-fusion (Chryssi-chan: HAH! See what I did there? Confusion? Fusion? Aye, Nay? ...Eh) at the bubble that contained a red-ish gem in a blue bubble that Pearl was holding. "Steven, what's that?" I asked.
"That's how we trap gems when we defeat them. Then we put them into the burning room in the temple." he explained.
"Oh, I see. Is fighting gem-mutant-monster-thingies hard to defeat?" I asked the Crystal Gems.
"It's not a hard job, honestly," Amethyst shrugged and smiled proudly, "We just use these."
They somehow summoned their weapons out of their gems, including Steven, who had an awesome shield. "Whoa cool!" I whispered to myself in awe. They all suddenly vanished and looked at me again, smiling.
"Not to pester you guys with questions or anything... But Garnet, I notice you have two gems on your hand and Pearl, Amethyst, and Steven only have one."
Connie explained for me. "She's a fusion of two gems, Ruby and Sapphire." I nodded before making a 'what?' expression. "Fusion...?"
Garnet told me more about Homeworld, Rose Quartz's rebellion and how Ruby and Sapphire accidentally fused, which was against the law.
About fifteen minutes later, the three of us looked at Garnet with wide starry eyes. "Garnet, you didn't tell me that!" Steven exclaimed, amazed. She only chuckled.
"Not to ruin the fun, but it's almost six... (F/n), our parents will be mad if we aren't home soon. At least mine will." Connie sighed sadly. Steven pouted.
"Aww..." I laughed.
"Don't worry, dude. We'll see each other tomorrow maybe." I reassured him. "Oh yeah! I didn't introduce you to my dad yet! He's the coolest!"
We walked down the porch steps. "Bye Steven!" Connie smiled and they hugged. "Come on (F/n). Let's race home, last one there has to the dishes-- Wait, it'll be me doing it anyway. Eh, let's go!" Connie cheered and ran ahead.
I turned to Steven. "Thanks for coming and showing me around today." I smiled. Steven scratched the back of his neck.
"It was no problem really..." he laughed. "Well... Bye."
Steven wrapped his arms around me in a hug. My heart skipped a beat. My eyes widened and I hesitantly hugged him back. When he pulled back, he just stared at me. I blushed slightly, but I don't think Steven noticed since it was dark. "Um... (F/n)?"
"Y-yeah?" I stuttered. "I think Connie's gonna beat you home..."
I widened my eyes yet again. "THAT'S WHERE YOU'RE WRONG! Bye!" I exclaimed, darting after Connie. Steven waved before heading back inside.
Connie ended up winning anyway.
Word count: 744 words.
Note from Chryssi-chan: Eh, this was sorta short. I also think the next chapter might be shorter by like 10 words. Watch, I'll be right.
