More of a filler chapter? Shorter than the last two. Some puns and flufffffffffffff
(F/n) POV
"(F/n)..." I heard a voice say softly. The person nudged me. I groaned and pulled my blanket over my head.
"(F/n)." the voice said more sternly.
"It's too early," I mumbled, "Go awayyyy..."
"WAKE UP!" the voice shouted, causing me to sit up abruptly in bed.
"WHAT DO YOU- mom?" I muttered, squinting my eyes. My mother nodded and sat down on my bed. I turned to the clock. "Mom, it's six in the morning."
"At least I'm not as bad as Connie waking you up." my mother teased. I scoffed, remembering that one time... (FLASHBACK TO CHAPTER FOUR)
"Actually, it's quite close." I growled, glaring at her. Mother just shrugged.
"I suppose you want to know why I awoke you." Mother opened the curtains/blinds. I hissed overdramatically, shielding my face from the sun.
"Of course I do." I replied.
"Just quickly get ready and meet me in the car!" Mother exclaimed excitedly. What is happening?
---done getting ready---
"Do you know why mom is acting like this?" I asked my father.
He nodded, but still told me, "You probably won't like it." Now I'm nervous. What is it? A surprise visit to the doctor's office? The dentist? I felt my palms start to dampen. Nonetheless, I grabbed a poptart and hopped into the family car.
"Alright, I'm here," I mumbled groggily, yawning for the thousandth time, "Can you please tell me where we're going?"
"Be patient, dear."
"Ughhhhh."
---your destination---
"You woke me up... To help you buy groceries?" I groaned. Here we were. At the supermarket. Hurray.
"No, of course not! We're here to buy you school supplies!" Mother cheered.
"School supplies? Why would I need -- No..." I gasped, realization hitting me.
"Yes!" Mother chirped.
"I am not returning to school!" I cried.
"Oh, you are." Mother said, grinning.
"WHY?!" I shot.
"(F/n), you spent the whole time since we moved here without learning anything." Mother spoke sternly.
"I LEARNED HOW TO STAB." I protested, bringing out the daggers from my satchel. Remember how I recently told them about the Cluster and all that jazz? I had to tell them about my training later on. They seemed as cool with it as the drill part.
"And you won't continue to unless you go to school!" Mother warned, making me shut up. She smiled; her threat had worked. "Good girl." she patted my head. Mother ended up being the one to push the cart as she tossed in some pencils and erasers.
I pulled out my phone.
'So my mom's making me go to school' I texted Connie.
She immediately texted back, 'Really?! What school?'
'It's 6:30 AM, Connie. Why are you up?'
'Let's just say lessons'
'Oh. And idk yet. Hopefully the same as yours'
