When Connie's cousin from New York City moves to Beach City to be closer to family, (F/n) (L/n) falls for a certain someone. (F/n) struggles between her feelings, seeing Connie seems to like Steven as well. Who does Steven like? Does Connie even lik...
I read over Steven's text over and over. Meet Lapis? You mean the gem who stole the ocean and almost drowned Steven and Connie?
'She seems really nice!' I thought. (You can choose whether sarcasm or not)
'Oh, hey Steve-man. Sure, I'll be over soon' I texted back.
I changed into some random clothes and brushed my hair. Skipping over to Connie's house across the street, I knocked on the door. Dr. Maheswaran (Connie your last name is confusing I stg every time I type their last name I have to look up how to spell it) opened it.
"Oh, hello, (F/n). What brings you here?" she asked in her usual formal tone.
"Hi, Dr. Maheswaran! I came to see if Connie's free right now." I said.
"I'm sorry, but Connie has a lot of homework to finish." she replied.
"Uhm, can I talk to her at least? Just to tell her something quickly?"
"Sorry, but no. Goodbye." and the door was slammed in my face. I guess bringing Connie along is out of the question. I raised an eyebrow and began to walk to the barn.
---the barn---
"Hey, guys." I waved and went to go sit down next to him and Peridot. They were discussing a card apparently?
"Oh, nice to see you, (F/n)." Steven grinned.
"(F/n), you've got to help us!" Peridot wailed.
"Wow. Peridot needs my help." I chuckled as Peridot glared at me, "by the way, shouldn't Lapis be with you guys?"
"EXACTLY! She doesn't want anything to do with me." Peridot mumbled glumly.
"And you want me to do what?" I asked.
"I want you to draw a card with me and Lapis representing a friendship." Peridot said.
"It looks like Steven has it covered." I pointed to the card.

Peridot looked at the doodle. "
"But there aren't any noses. And our hands look weird!" she groaned.
"Hey!" Steven pouted, which I'd admit, was pretty cute.
"I think it looks really nice, Steven." I complimented, glaring at Peridot. She grumbled at me.
"Why thank you, (F/n)." Steven flashed a grin, "Two against one, Peri. We're keeping it as it is."
