HEYYY it's me again! With another chapter.

(F/n) POV
"Yeah. That was such a great idea. We totally should upgrade it to an indoor swimming pool with five diving boards." I snorted.
"(F/n)! Didn't you hear Lapis?! She said she was taking a break from water! Although that might work... No, no, scratch that! We don't have enough materials." Peridot huffed.
I turned to Peridot with a bored expression, "I was being sarcastic."
"Ah." We both turned our attention to Steven, who paced around the barn in deep thought.
"Got any ideas, Steve-man?" I asked.
"No- BUT WAIT-! No..." he sighed. Peridot stood up and stamped her feet on the floor in distress.
"Ugh! This is HOPELESS! Such a cloddy idea! There's nothing, nothing, NOTHING!" Peridot wailed. I giggled. "What are you laughing at?" Peridot snapped.
"You're really cute when you're angry!" I grinned. Peridot glared daggers at me. (GET IT BECAUSE YOUR WEAPON IS A DAGGER- By the way, soon there will be a chapter about you going on a mission. Remember Connie's first mission? Stay tuned for that!)
"Am not!"
"Are too!" I stuck my tongue out at Peridot childishly. Steven decided to ignore our little argument.
"There has to be something, something, something..." Steven said softly, "Maybe, instead of something she likes.. give her something you like! A piece of you!"
"Ooh, ooh! Great idea!" Peridot exclaimed.
"What's something you like Peridot? What about those DVDs you were telling me about?" I asked.
"My Camp Pining Hearts DVD?" Peridot shrugged.
Steven eyed Peridot skeptically, "What season?"
"5...?" she replied, sounding unsure. They both agreed that the season was trash. "(F/n), what season should I give Lapis?" Peridot demanded.
"Summer." I joked. Steven stifled a laugh. Peridot looked at me unamused. I chuckled nervously and said, "Well I don't know, I haven't watched it," which earned a dejected sigh from Peridot.
"Log date -- whatever, Facet -- whatever! Ugh, WHATEVER! Clearly there's nothing important enough for me to give to Lazuli." Peridot growled, but then softly caressed her tape recorder. "At least I have you, tape recorder." she sighed. But then, realization seemed to wash over her.
"What, what is it?!" I inquired, tilting my head to the side.
"Ta-da!" Peridot exclaimed, grinning. She held out the small gift to Lapis, who still seemed angry at her. I gulped. Peridot pointed to the gift.
"See, the ribbon is even blue. I got yo number!" Peridot winked. (best part though) "Uh, here, I'll unwrap it for you! When I was stuck here, Steven gave me this tape recorder as a gift and I didn't really get it at first," Peridot ripped the wrapping off, "but it made me feel better. Just to talk about the weird stuff that was happening. It'll help you too!"
"So thoughtful!" I whisper-squealed to Steven.
"Our baby is growing up!" he giggled back. We all watched in anticipation, waiting for Lapis to do something. At last, she finally took the tape recorder from Peridot's hands. Peridot nervously gave her instructions on how to use it. She smiled expectantly.
