WHOA ANOTHER UPDATE SO SOON?! Bless your little souls.
Steven's POV
(bETCHA DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING)
"Did you know cows have best friends?" I asked. (F/n) chuckled and shook her head no, while Connie just nodded and grinned.
"Ooh, I've read that somewhere in a book! I was writing an essay for school on farm animals!" Connie informed proudly. I laughed, but Connie and I turned to (F/n) with worry as she laid her back on the grassy hill sadly.
"Ugh, school." she groaned. We currently were hanging out on the hill above the temple. Y'know, the one by the lighthouse. Connie had decided to take a break from studying; she had earned it. It was a couple of weeks since (F/n) announced she had to go back to school.
Connie had told me a few days back that she was moping around since it would be almost time for her to return back to education. I mean, Connie didn't seem to have a problem with it, but (F/n) sure did. I didn't know that school would be that bad?
Connie and I ended up scheduling a time for all of us three to hang out. It's been a while. It feels nice, too.
"Relax, (N/n). School's not so bad. But you should just get your mind off it, you've been so depressed. You haven't even started yet!" Connie said, shrugging. She only earned a grunt in response. Connie rolled her eyes, but gave a lopsided smile. "Besides, you'll go to the same one as me!"
"I guess so." (F/n) sighed.
But then, a lightbulb went off in my head. "I know what'll keep your mind off of it." I announced, standing up. (F/n) sat up.
"What? What is it?" she asked.
"Let's go to the movies!" I declared. Connie nodded.
"That's actually not a bad idea! Come on, (F/n). It'll be fun. Dogcopter 4 had just been released! I've been dying to see it!" Connie exclaimed dramatically, "It's even being shown in 3D!"
"WHAT, REALLY?!" I gasped. (F/n) giggled.
"Sure... Also, I cannot believe they just ended the last movie with a cliffhanger!" (F/n) huffed, throwing her arms up in the air, "We finally have answers!" Ah, at least she's distracted from school.
---movie theatre---
"Here we are! The theatre!" I exclaimed. (Quick question. Just asking, do you prefer "theatre" or "theater"?)
"Aww, the 3D tickets are sold out!" Connie cried.
"Sold out? What?" (F/n) groaned.
"Uhm, that's okay, uh..." I pondered a bit, biting my lip. What now? Wait! Regular tickets, idiot. Stupid, stupid! "We can watch the movie in 2D for now." I suggested.
(F/n) shrugged, "Fine."
"It's not as good, but better than nothing." Connie added. I stood on my tippy-toes to at least see eye-to-eye to the movie theatre lady. (AKA Ronaldo's girlfriend, hehe.)
"Three tickets to see Dogcopter 4 please!" I said, smiling.
The movie theatre girl shook her head, "Sorry, we only have two left." My eyes widened.
"Two tickets left? B-b-but-"
"Sorry, kid."
I sighed in defeat and sulked back to my friends. Connie immediately noticed my dejected expression.
