Jacob and I went to meet Freddy at the docks the next morning. I felt fully rested and ready for work. He was leaning against a railing, watching over the boats and businessmen. His bushy beard had been trimmed ever so slightly since I last saw him the night before.

"If only I knew which shipment it was..."

"Jacob and I could try to find it."

"No, no. It has already left the docks by now. However, I would have been able to trace the weapons to their owner." He scratched at his whiskers.

"Capital idea, Freddy." Jacob said and then turned towards me. "Here we are - the shipping docks." He looked around, clearly having already begun using his Sense to find any clues as to the whereabouts of the weapons. "Now, where are the Cockham crates intended for Mr Plutus?" His eyes fell to the ground and he grinned. "This way, Carina. Some carriage tracks." He set off at a sprint and I followed after him blindly. He reached the corner of one building, used his Sense again, then started running again.

This went on for around ten minutes before Jacob began climbing up the nearest row of houses. When I got to the roof, I saw that there was a carriage below us. He hopped down to look inside.

"Hello..." He scratched an 'X' shape into it using his hidden blade. Within seconds, he was back beside me on the roof again. "And now to wait for the crates to be retrieved."

As if on cue, a Blighter pulled up beside it and switched so that he was driving the carriage with the crates on the back. From out of the shadows, another Blighter appeared and they began discussing where they would leave the contraband. They mentioned a pub.

"Shame we can't stop in for a pint, isn't it?" I asked. Jacob chuckled.

"I was about to say the same thing. Come on, we will follow the carriage."

"Does that mean I have to cope with your driving?" I poked, earning another laugh.

Jacob procured a carriage for us and drove after the other one at great speed. The others were clearly wanting to get somewhere fairly quickly. As promised, we followed them to the pub they had mentioned. The man stopped the carriage and waited for a while. Jacob and I hung back to watch the events unfold.

"Same routine as before. Twopenny opens the vault, we robs it and leaves the money in his storehouse. Look sharp, the boys are waiting." Two more Blighters met the first man outside the pub and then hopped onto the carriage with the other man.

"To the Bank of England." The reins were snapped and the carriage tore away again. Jacob turned his head towards me and rested an arm on my bicep.

"The robbery is taking place tomorrow afternoon so we should get back to the train and work up a brief plan. That way, we are at least a little bit prepared. We can have Evie help."

"Well, of course. Evie is the best at planning." Jacob nodded. "Then, tomorrow morning, we can meet up with Freddy and discuss the plans."
