I had been resting on the sofa with a notebook which I had been doodling in for two hours before Evie and Henry approached me. They stood over me with wide smiles on their faces. I raised an eyebrow.

"What..?" I set down the book and pencil.

"You're coming with us today. Jacob was going to take you to the park, but we would rather you did something productive." Evie chimed.

"But what if I want to go to the park?"

"Then you will have to go to the park when we are finished. This is important, Miss Faraday." Henry explained.

"I know. I wasn't really going to go to the park instead of working." I giggled. "Hah, I made you think."

"Get ready." Evie swept my feet off of the sofa harshly. "I am going to gather my weapons. I want you ready by the time I am back."

"Yes, mother." I smirked and she flicked my forehead.

I shoved my feet into my boots and tightly knotted the laces. After that, I entered mine and Jacob's carriage to grab my Kukri. I fastened it to my belt and felt two hands at my waist. I lowered myself to sit on the side of Jacob's bed and leaned back into his chest.

"Where are you off to all armed?"

"Evie and Henry are ordering me about today. We can go to the park later on, if you like."

"How did you know about that?"

"Evie." He chuckled. "She flat out told me that I couldn't go until later. However, that gives you time to sort out a picnic because I am sure I will return to the train hungry." I kissed his shoulder then pushed myself onto my feet.

I met Evie and Henry outside of the train as it had already pulled into the station. Henry pointed to a carriage which we clambered into. He explained what we were doing. We would be looking for a set of plans to get into the secret room in Buckingham Palace. We would be meeting an ally of his. He wouldn't mention who it was, but he did say that we were meeting a very powerful man who had ties with the Queen.

The carriage halted. It slowed to a stop with a squeak. I was the first to leave the carriage, feeling quite claustrophobic at that point. There was a slight crowd of people outside of the carriage. It was as if they had been waiting for Evie, Henry and I. Clearly, when they groaned and began to disperse, they had been mistaken.

"I found a letter from the Prince Consort among Lucy Thorne's research." Henry began, now outside of the carriage with Evie stood beside him. "Marked with the same insignia as your key. Dated 1847." My eyes widened.

"I have heard 1847 mentioned before... Why is it so important?" I asked. Henry smiled.

"It was the same year the Prince began renovations to Buckingham Palace."

"So, you think he added a vault for the Shroud?" Evie added. Henry gave a slight nod.
