Kieth sighs and massages his templse. He should not be here but it has to be done.

"Would this be all, sir?" Tanong ng driver niya buhat na ang box ng mga gamit niya.
Tumango siya at bumuntong-hininga ulit. Tumayo na siya at tinignang muli ang kabuuan ng bahay. He unconsciously held his wounded arm. Maayos naman na iyon pero iyon ang huling nangyari sa kanila dito ni Ashelee.
This has been a safe place to him. Ito ang takbuhan niya kapag kailangan niya ng tulog. It wasn't the best sleep but at least he was sleeping. Maalaga sa kanya si Ashelee sa sarili nitong paraan, and he appreciates her for that.
Sooner or later he will have to end things with Ashelee. It's something he knows that will happen no matter what.
Hindi naman siya manhid. Ashelee likes him, more than to what he sees her, more than to what he feels for her. He knows that very well but he also knows that he is not obliged to acknowledge it, to give her a reply, to like her back.
Mabuting kaibigan si Ashelee para sa kanya. He wasn't the friendliest person in world and he rarely had female friends, but to him Ashelee is a very good girl friend. Maliban kay AD, wala siyang ibang naging kaibigang gaya nito.
He doesn't want to lose their friendship but that would be cruel of him. He vowed that he wouldn't leave her like what he is doing right now but he doesn't have a choice. He already made up his mind.
Alam niyang ang pagbabalik ni Jeanna ang pinaka-ikinatatakot ni Ashelee. As she should be because whatever everyone does, it will always be Jeanna who will hold the biggest part of himself. She fears that he will choose Jeanna and that is exactly what he decided to do. He's choosing himself this time.
Hindi pwedeng pagbigyan niya ang dalaga dahil alam niyang ipapahamak nito ang sarili niya. He can't do everything for her just because he threatens him with her life. Ayaw niyang may mangyari sa dalaga pero hindi iyon sapat na dahilan para ito ang kumontrol ng buhay niya. He already let her do it for the past year. Kailangan na niyang kunin pabalik ang sarili niyang buhay.
Ashelee is suicidal to say the least. He doesn't want to sound cold and apathetic about it, but it has been ruining them both. Ito pa lang ang unang beses na tinanggap niya ang katotohanang iyon at kailangan na niyang tapusin ang lahat.
Pagkatapos ng pag-uusap nila ni AD sa ospital, alam na niyang kung gusto niyang maliwanagan, kailangan niya munang ayusin ang sarili niya. He needs to let go of any bagages he has that will hinder his progress.
His connection with Ashelee and her manipulative ways will hinder him, especially that she hates Jeanna.
He himself is still mad at Jeanna, pero dahil lang iyon sa sobrang daming tanong na meron siya na hanggang ngayon wala pa ring mga sagot. Mas nananaig sa kanya ang pangangailangan niyang makakuha ng sagot.
Maybe then he can finally be at ease.
One last look and he went on his way out. He locked the door behind him, this time leaving the keys inside.
