All the attended audience sat quietly. Anxiety, excitement, powerful fanatic energy, all will be mixed for at least a gallon of tears to be filled in tear ducts, ready for spillage during the live show while topping it off with head-blowing screams.
Since I was at the very front, I looked back to survey the surrounding. First experiencers be like. So I was intended to spot for Natasha in the crowded scene. I had no luck, but I was still observing.
No seat was left unattended. Well, I guess there's no disease stopping 5sos fam today.
Some girls actually already got a head start on crying and snorting into crinkled tissues or maybe they just had caught the unexpected unfortunate flu today but still wanted and had to come to the concert 'cause there ain't no way in a million years that a concert would be postponed just because one person, out of hundreds was sick. That would be sick goals.
Lights then faded to a dim glow. Just like in a cinema, you know, the show's about to start.
Then lights clicked back into action. All for rock gods were posed on the stage with their instruments and microphones.
"WHAT'S UP MALAYSIA!" Luke's voice travelled from his mic to the speakers set all around the halls. A chorus of screams followed. It's gonna take a little time to adjust to the volume here since we sat in anxious silence for quite awhile.
Their first song was 'Safety Pin'. Everyone of course sang along, even me. Some of us rose from our seats, almost in position to fly. These two girls beside me was literally crying and screaming at the same time, I began to wonder why they weren't choking on themselves.
'Safety Pin' was followed by 'She Looks So Perfect' and 'Amnesia'. I caught Calum's eyes a few times and the first time, he had a tiny devilish grin.
Basically, I was just recording on my phone as an update for my viewers on YouTube.
Then a soft tap from my right drew my eyes to that direction. A guy maybe twice my age was standing there and something I noticed about him was, he was equipped with a backstage pass around his neck.
"Are you Hailey Stainfield?" He asked with a husky Australian (or British. Still can't different shade them lol) accent. "Umm yes?" I answered not knowing what to expect.
"Come with me," Oh shit. What the frick did I do.
He managed to pull my hesitant self from my seat with his intimidating appearance and aura. We walked over a line of feet, careful not to step any of them. I also ducked down to my lowest level because people kept complaining as I walked by and I could hear them grumbling loudly on purpose over the loud music. Some people recognized me and only gasped. Some of the bold ones said hi to me and stuff like that.
There was even one that said, "Oh my gosh hi your videos are my shit." I laughed and stayed on for a bit until Mr. Backstage Pass called for me.
When I reached to the back, I stopped thinking. I wasn't in trouble, that's for sure. Because right after Mr. Intimidating Aura reached the backstage and made sure I was following him, he left me.
I know, I know, it's so depressing when someone leaves you if ya know what I'm saying. Okay, I tend to think about random shit when I'm nervous. Thank god I don't ramble them out loud because that would've been a horrific habit to live with.
I kept on listening to them sing, kinda not a very good view here at the backstage but beggars can't be choosers.
When the song ended, I was betting with myself which song was going to be played next. I was betting 'Jet Black Heart' or maybe 'Catch Fire'. But both bets were wrong.
One of the boys announced (it's kinda hard to tell which voice belongs to who now that I couldn't see them), could've been Michael, announced, "Now Calum has decided to give you a sudden intermission. See you guys in fifteen," he must've blown a kiss directly to the crowd because everyone cheered louder than before.
Ok, big deal. An intermission, but why sudden?

Hey guys! So this part of the book is probably one of my favourite parts of the book but also one of the hardest parts to write because I've never been to a 5sos or any concert at all so I don't really have any proper experience. And guess what, the 5sos gig here in Malaysia during March, yeah, I'm not fvcking going. Ugh. And March is the month of birthday so why doesn't the world have no mercy on me. I'm gonna die knowing they're gonna be in the state I'm living in for a day and I'm not gonna see them fml. But yeah, maybe a few votes and more readers would cheer me up. Oh and, HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY CALUM BOO. JUST STOP GROWING AND I'LL BE A HAPPY GIRL. Kya xx
