Chapter 2- Meeting her for the first time

The bell sounded for the end of the day finally. I stood up and exited my English room with Jayne in tow, we had a majority of our classes together,

"She does not know when to shut her mouth" giggled Jayne as we walked for the doors of the school to go home,

"Seriously, one time last year she screamed at us because we hadn't done our work because she did nothing but talk and talk" Jayne chuckled,

"Are you stopping tonight?" I asked snaking my arm around her back,

"I was thinking, maybe we could stay at mine tonight" she replied giving me a quizzical look, stopping dead in my tracks I turned to her and said,

"But Jayne I've never met your parents" I stuttered, "I don't even know if they like me" she looked at me and started to laugh,

"Stop" she came closer towards me and placed her hands on my shoulders and continued to stare at me, "don't worry, my Mam is amazing she is going to love you" she reassured me,

"We'll have to go and get some of my things then" I said

"Come on best get a move on before it gets dark" she replied taking my hand and tugging me towards the huge glass entrance doors.

"Hey, Mam is going to come and pick us up at around 5 is that okay? its just when she finishes work so it would be easier for her" said Jayne from the bed, I glanced at the alarm clock on my bedside cabinet which read 4:00,

"Whatever is easiest for her babe I don't mind" I replied as I continued to pack my overnight bag with the essential stuff I would need for tomorrow such as my clean uniform, straighteners, make up bag, phone charger and my pyjamas for tonight,

"Are you okay Elise, you seem a little distracted" said Jayne as she came up from behind me and wrapped her arms around my torso and buried her face into my neck,

"I'm just a little tired is all" I replied to her turning around so we were face to face and wrapped my arms around her neck,

"Why not take a nap before we leave" she suggested resting her forehead against mine,

"I kind of wanted to take a shower before we went" I continued as I pulled her closer to me,

"Well just get one at mine, I use your water all the time" she chuckled looking at me,

"Nah! I'll be okay I just want to spend some time with you anyway" I muttered as I stifled a yawn

"Come on over here" Jayne whispered as she lead me over to the bed and laid down beside me where we fell asleep beside each other.

The sudden noise of a mobile blaring woke me up, glancing over to the bedside table I realised it was Jayne's and looked at the Caller ID on the front,

"Jay, your Mam's phoning you" I said nudging her, "Jay" I still didn't get a response so I rolled over and nudged her even harder,

"What El" she murmured in her sleep.

"Your Mam is phoning you" she held out her hand for her mobile, I handed it over and she answers the mobile in a very groggily voice,

"Right okay we're on our way out" was all I heard Jay say from the bathroom as I grabbed my toothbrush to put in my overnight bag,

"El we gotta go Mam is waiting" she said as she came around. Once we had everything we needed I trudged downstairs and found my Mam sat on the Sofa watching TV,
