Chapter 49 - "27, Isn't Old!"

Okay here is chapter 49 :-) I think the story is drawing to a close people there isnt much more I can write about unless I have a strike of brilliance.

Elise POV

At the moment I am sat wrapping Sarah's birthday present whilst she was bathing the kids; I had bought her a gorgeous Pandora ring, a coffee cup with a picture of the kids on for her to take to work and a picture frame with a family picture in it. I had finished wrapping her last present when she came through the door and quietly closed it,

"They finally get to sleep babe?" she collapsed on the bed and exhaled,

"Eventually" she sighed, "What were you doing?" she asked knowingly,

"Oh nothing just waiting or my baby to come to bed" I smiled kissing her on the end of her nose,

"Really" she smiled at me, "Wasn't it something for my birthday" she smirked,

"When's your birthday" I asked,

"Tomorrow" she said as her face fell; I had to fight against laughing in her face,

"Oh I did not know" I shrugged,

"Baby we've been together nearly a year how do you not know" her face still fallen,

"Well night baby I'm going to sleep" I turned over tucked myself under the duvet and buried my head down, from behind me I heard her tut as she forcefully turned over herself slamming her lamp off at her bedside as I smirked to myself before falling asleep.

~Next Morning~

I woke up and pretended like today was like any other day so I went about my normal schedule of getting the kids up getting myself ready for college and getting the kids fed. At 7:45 Sarah slumped downstairs and into the kitchen,

"Morning sweetie" I pecked her lips before finishing off feeding Xavier,

"Oh can you pick Fran and Xavier up from my Mom's I've got to stay later at college for my assignments" she sighed and offered a simple 'yes',

"Okay I've gotta go to work I'll see you tonight" she stood up and stormed out of the kitchen grabbing her keys as she went, as I heard the front door slam I stood and giggled to myself,

"Mammy thinks we forgot" I snickered as I picked up Xavier and cleaned him off before grabbing Fran and putting both kids in the car and packed all of Sarah's birthday presents in the boot of the car before zooming off to my Mam's to drop the kids off,

"Hey Mam" I said as I stumbled through the front door with Xavier in one arm and his bag over one shoulder and holding one of Fran's hands,

"Hey sweetie" I heard her call from the sitting room,

"Nana Nana" Fran ran over to her and attacked her with hugs,

"Well hello" Mam chuckled as she picked her up and placed her on her knee,

"Can I ask you a favour Mam?" I asked as I dumped Xaviers nappy bag on the floor beside the couch,

"That depends" she shrugged,

"Could you meet me at Sarah's school with the kids at about half twelve please" she nodded and placed Fran on the floor,

"What have you got planned?" she asked,

"Well, its Sarah's birthday today and she thinks we forgot because I didn't say happy birthday or give her her stuff to then surprise her when we get to her school this afternoon" I smiled,
